I don't work on it anymore really but I still work on music for this autistic Sci fi war I used to imagine throughout my childhood. It was like star wars a bit, except it took place on a single giant planet, with huge fortresses and ships fighting for control. Had multiple generations of a family as main characters, but the best of them was Orion. I had him sacrifice himself to kill the main villain after sabotaging a superweapon, then when his kids failed to be adequate alter egos, I got nostalgic and had him resurrected by ancient nanotech. The story already had too many main characters and resurrecting Orion felt like a hack so I slowly stopped imagining it. I couldn't retcon it either it just didn't feel right. I wrote around 600 pages of prose for multiple sections of this huge story. Anyway here's a piece of music I wrote for the death of Orion's wife, who was killed in battle around 10 years after he died.

I'm sad I destroyed my story. Maybe I finally "grew up" at 25 but even now with brainless wagecucking my mind would rather wander to stupid shit. I guess I finally ruined one of the only decent things I had elft from my childhood.
