Her brother supports Biden.

She's a coalburner

She aint gangsta.

How bluepilled.

cringy music for plebs

who cares
listen to what you like

nah jk
her beats aren't bad but the subject matter will be either seen as aged in 10 years, or will be looked on as avant-garde social commentary by patrician hipsters like me, but I think she should leave the 'damaged' music to Death Grips or Tom Waits.

Basically her music will more likely appeal to you if you believe that girls can(not) feel alienation the way incels do, and that usually reveals what kind of preconceived notions you have about women, the kind of thing that breeds fertile ground for social tweet warriors to pick apart your bones if you don't 'like' her.

>they cry "for it is you don't 'get' her"
>to which the brave shitposter declares "only the music that I approve of is noteworthy"

The problem with realising that music discussion has become a prisoner's dilemma where people would rather both villainize the other than risk the possibility of a fruitful discussion on what other people's perspectives can add to the individual's experience of the music.

I don't really have an opinion on her, I think I just wanted to vent a bit.

>le ebin it's all about beating Trump

Retards look at politics like they look at sports. Fuck off.

Exactly. 40 years of neoliberal economic policy is what created Trump. If those policies continue, the next Trump will be elected in the near future. It's not about "teams" but about changing the system.

>neoliberal economic policy is what created Trump. If those policies continue
Trump's one legislative achievement was a trillion dollar tax cut to the rich lmao. Imagine being this cucked.

Privilege white girl ripping off the sound made by underground rap artists like Yung Lean, SGP, and Bones. Everything she tried to do they did much better.

And a Biden presidency won't be much better. I can't imagine how unaffected by the system you have to be in order to think Sanders and Biden are the same policy-wise.

how is her race relevant?
the artists you mentioned also are white

SGP is a dark-skinned black man from Miami...

shut up cracker

she sucked me off hardcore
not even lying

Speak of the devil.
youtube.com/watch?v=3YTyuXhtzHI

yung lean and bones are as white as snow
again, how's her race relevant here? she's clearly not ripping off niggas

little bitch

Her sound clearly rips off Miami hip hop of the 2010s which was mostly innovated by black artists.

Also, the fact that she steals from underground artists, despite having been signed to a million-dollar major label deal at 14 speaks volumes.

>Eilish’s shtick is a patchwork of influences, and the most important of them might be hip-hop. Rap culture informs her oversized track suits, her way of speaking, her rat-a-tat vocal delivery, and the trap percussion of her songs; she has been quick to praise hip-hop and work with emcees. Rap, however, doesn’t usually fare well at the Grammys. Hip-hop has generated only two Album of the Year winners ever, and some of the most ingenious black artists have been rewarded only in genre-specific categories rather than the general ones (for more details, here’s Tyler, the Creator, speaking ambivalently last night about his Best Rap Album win for an album that didn’t sound very much like rap). Eilish is able to swipe influences from America’s most popular genre without taking a prestige hit or getting pigeonholed.

>That’s because her whiteness allows her to be perceived as belonging to genres more “respectable” to masses of Grammys voters. Though there are few guitars in her songs, Dave Grohl has called her the future of rock and roll, and at the American Music Awards, she was named Favorite Artist—Alternative Rock. The “rock” of her identity mostly comes down to a chain-laden and heavy-lidded image that recalls a lineage stretching through Sid Vicious and Garbage’s Shirley Manson. Race is clearly part of this image. The rappers Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert have a similar fashion sense to Eilish, and their music overtly interpolates rock. But they are culturally consumed, primarily, as hip-hop artists, with little chance of earning a top prize at the Grammys.

Do we even know what an "industry plant" really is? The term originally referred to artists claiming to be indie who were actually signed to labels under the table.

What does Ferb think about American politics

Her brother is totally rapping that

>and the most important of them might be hip-hop
simply delusional

I agree that the way she dresses 100% comes from rap culture tho. However, that seems to be the case with most young people nowadays

Trump was elected four years ago

The beats she whispers over come almost entirely from trap music.

Tapping*

She made a good song cuz leave her alone for at least 5 minutes

But his victory was the result of policies going back to Reagan, if not Carter.

Why is this important?

Am I the only one who finds her music incredibly boring?

nope.

Because Billie's influence among zoomers is huge. Do you really want a bunch of 10-23 year olds having the wrong political epistemology?

>wins five grammies appropriating black culture
>support a presidential candidate who has a notoriously anti-black voting record

people that say "grow up" or similar things about how this and that isn't mature are always the most dumbest bluepilled retarded people, literal manchildren larping as informed adults

To be fair, this is Finneas, not Billie.

1. 70% of black voters support Biden
2. You have no idea who he supports, that's just vague comment urging unity
3. She and her brother not the same person, and likely different views on a range of topics
4. You're a faggot for caring this much about a musician's politics

I want to grab her ears and fuck her in the mouth until she's dead. I have never heard her music before.

t. white boy

>3. She and her brother not the same person, and likely different views on a range of topics
Such as?

blacks only support biden because he was obama's vp. it's not that they like biden, it's that they miss obama.

>2. You have no idea who he supports, that's just vague comment urging unity
So what use is "unity" if the actual issues at hand are going to be sacrificed? Again, the issue isn't Trump himself, he's just the result of DECADES of neoliberalism which has fucked over the working class (including black and brown people) and lead to the conditions which prompted Trump's win. Sanders supporters have every reason to be pissed off at Biden voters, not just for voting against someone whose policies will actually fix the problems at hand, but for being so cavalier when it comes to the grievances of their critics.

>open billie thread
>look for lewd lips boobs and ass
>only find incels "discussing" mutt politics
Absolute state of Yas Forums

This desu.

Why shouldn't we discuss politics when Billie is an openly political artist?

>Sanders supporters have every reason to be pissed off at Biden voters
Cool. I look forward to seeing you rail against the 60-70% of blacks who keep handing him his victories, not to mention the working class whites he won a majority of on Tuesday.

Because a Biden presidency would mean a "new" Trump presidency four years later, probably even worse.

Mind me asking, are you black by chance?

A lot of blacks and white working class people also voted for Trump in 2016.

Those look like they hurt her back.

>the 60-70% of blacks who keep handing him his victories,
Because he was Obama's VP and they think voting for Biden means voting for Obama's third term...

Why would she support Bernie when she would not have blown up and been successful like she did under a socialist regime ? Her success is all due to neo liberal capitalism.

>how dare you have principles, just voot for whomever the DNC and Wall Street pick
