I respectfully disagree, I never liked the closer much relative to everything else. Motion Picture Soundtrack is a much better suggestion, though I'm still not sure about 10/10, 9ish for sure in that case.
Weezer-Only In Dreams. I used to, and still do, have this fag weeaboo anime music video fantasy of the first half, as an anime music video of Evangelion, the relationship between Shinji and Kaworu. Then in the second half, a new, unseen piece of animation: the two slowly walking uphill, then running, then galloping, violently and tearfully clashing with each other, kissing passionately at the hill's summit. The fact that the song (Man's best invention is the song) could suggest to me an unrelated imaginary goes to its strength as a closer.
