for about 5 years and they have an issue that they encounter those AACS versions. 53 isn't bad but it's high. if i ran into some weird disc that was a number too high, that gets set permanently in the drive and it'll stop reading certain discs. it's the luck of the draw and a reason to avoid foreign market discs even though you can get around the region.
