I'm a professional croupier/casino dealer. Ask me anything.
I deal Blackjack, Poker, Three Card, Caribbean Stud, Craps, Tai Sai and a handful of smaller games.

How often do you spot cheats at the table?
On a scale from one to ten, how annoyed is everyone that I'm inexperienced at blackjack
Not OP but even "professional" blackjack players who come in every day don't know full basic strategy. Play to enjoy yourself.

Is it clean? Do the chips get really dirty? Any problems with players/bystanders? Do you have ear ringing from all the noise all the time? Are you bored of what you do? What’s your favorite game to deal; favorite game to play? Are you seeking vertical movement within the casino? Have you thought about working at more luxurious casinos? What do you think of card counting? What do you think of Indian Reservation Casinos; how do they differ?
Simply fantastic, thanks for asking
I'm in Australasia. Hello brother
Very rare occurrence that anyone plays perfect basic strategy. Might only see it twice a month
I got dealt a straight flush in holdem this Christmas. What are the odds?

are you allowed to bring a cheat sheet that tells you what to do in every situation?
ever caught a cheat?
Chips never get cleaned, no different to fiat currency. I wouldn't lick it.
Players can get emotionally charged. Most commonly looking for someone to blame for loses (like a supivisor/pit boss)
Best game to watch is a card counter on blackjack - our casino does not teach dealers to recognise counters. I taught myself to count/deal at same time. Only ever seen 1 card counter, exciting to see it in practice. More power to you if your an advantage player, I see nothing wrong with it.
I'm from Australasia and don't know about Indian Reservation Casino's.
Pretty rare. About 1 in 70,000
Not in our casino and others in Australia/New Zealand. I understand some international casinos sell Basic Strategy charts in gift shops for instance.
Due to modern surveillance tech, most of the cheating is either by dealers or with the help of a dealer. Eg. dealer paying more than has been won, discretely sliding chips to a player. We did have one pretty significant case of counterfeit currency - a player manufactured replica's of our $1k chips and played them at a blackjack table on our busiest night of the year. He got away with $45k legitimate currency and fled to China.
Britfag Croup here, can only speak about my experience with London/Provincial casinos
>Is it clean? Do the chips get really dirty?
Low stakes table chips are always filthy and table colour chips can actually stick together from the accumulated grease and sweat. People kiss their chips and honestly it disgusts me knowing where some people have put them.
>Any problems with players/bystanders?
All the time, I'm an inspector which is the guy that watches tables and confirms bets. Too many stories to tell.
>Do you have ear ringing from all the noise all the time?
It's not that loud on the tables but if you get stuck in a pit near slots you will dream about Lucky Lady's Charm youtube.com
>Are you bored of what you do?
It's one of those jobs where you can genuinely have fun whilst you work, but as you progress you take on more mundane tasks such as inspecting.
>What’s your favorite game to deal; favorite game to play?
A full game of roulette with heavy action, gets the adrenaline going. I usually play Blackjack myself.
>Are you seeking vertical movement within the casino?
Bit personal innit? I do want to get to management at some point but to be honest I'd rather be demoted and go back to dealing sometimes, less hassle.
>Have you thought about working at more luxurious casinos?
Not really, good thing about the casinos I've worked in is that they are more casual and you can get customers to open up and have a good time with them.
>What do you think of card counting?
It's a skill that much like Basic strategy many people think they can do, but they fuck it up. We have a known card counter that comes in often but he is so bad at applying the correct bets he losses more than wins
>What do you think of Indian Reservation Casinos; how do they differ?

Hit on 12: Y/N?
What's the face card? Is it two aces?
How much do you get paid?
Depends on dealer's card, sometimes split a pair of 6's. See chart.
Which game brings out the most degenerates?
Which game has the most unique culture and superstitions?
Why the flying fuck does anyone ever bet Big6/Big8 and why do people bet huge amounts on the pass line and then never bet odds?
The face cards are Jack, Queen and King. They each worth a value of 10.
If I shook a solid turd out of my trousers but playing $100 a turn at the slots, what do you do?
I get paid about 30% more per hour than minimum wage. The pay in some Australian casinos is significantly higher than min wage. Tipping is also illegal in New Zealand.
The ones with the greatest house edge bring out the dumbest players. Roulette probably the most degenerates - players can slip into financial trouble away very very quickly. The 'money wheel' is has the worst odds in our casino.
Baccarat has the most unique superstitions. It's very popular with chinese and indian players at our casino. Many believe that they can decipher patterns in the results and thus make accurate predictions. Luck is imbued in chinese culture, such is reflected in the behaviour of our chinese players.
I love the last question! haha
Pass/don't pass has the best odds on table.
Big 6/Big 8 are pretty much bets for people who can't do math.
We have a variation of craps called snake eyes: look it up on wizard of odds, the reviews are horrendous! It is baffling that our players continue to come back despite knowing the horrible odds.
What percentage of your customers are regulars? Which game has the highest percentage of regulars?
Do most people just punt and play minimums? Do you ever see anyone win just punting the minimum?
Do people still play systems and martingales?
How frequently do you see players cheating other players? I personally see it a lot when I play but I’m not a dealer.
Which game leads players to make the most annoying requests and what are the requests? Specifically for craps, what is the most annoying request that people make? As a player I see a ton of really shitty annoying behavior from craps players.
Are you ever, in any circumstance, happy to see a drunk at a table? What percentage of drunks are just uber annoying?
Are young and hot women ever very good at gambling. I’m really not sexist, but I’ve very rarely experienced a hottie being good at gambling. Old ass leathery Jewish dudes seem the best to me. Some old black dudes but that could go either way as some of the most boneheaded gambling fucks I’ve seen are cocky black dudes.
What do you think of white guys who play pai gow?
He's asking what the dealer's face-up card is, and whether the player's hand is two aces or some other combination adding up to 12. Retard.
Which casino?
Have you ever sucked all the dick you want?
>What's the face card? Is it two aces?
King, Hearts
Also a casino dealer there I hate it more than anything in the world.
OP, answer me you rancid swine.
