It shouldn't be. It should be a fundamental right protected by law. Because it is profit driven it is subject to corruption, and hence Americans pay far more than they should and end up with substandard care. This is well documented, but you don't care about facts, just ideology.

A bit, but not completely. The problem is that if it's not government funding it, then you are forced to get it through profit-driven corporations - insurance companies. Either way, your healthcare is influenced by others. Governments are elected by the people, their mandate is not to put money in the hands of a cabal of shareholders, but to deliver care to the people. Just like the USPS keeps delivering to routes that would never make money for the likes of FedEx, government-funded healthcare would support procedures that don't make a profit. Also, they could negotiate and bulk-purchase medicines at a far better price. This EXACT thing is what's going on in every other first-world nation, and it works.

Possibly, but this pandemic illustrates that most "small businesses" are only profitable because they're making money off the backs of low wage employees, who if were paid a living wage would erase most of these businesses profits. If you're "small business" has such a "small" profit margin, then maybe you should have reconsidered opening it. The stats in my country show that some 35 percent of jobs lost were minimum wage or just above, only 5 percent were over 40k year. Ergo, most jobs are bullshit.
