may you please rush to the ritual where an underage virgin girl has to slaughter and eat the heart of a baby and then being fucked by a goat using with all the blood smeart over her body?
That's what satanism boils down to ama right? A great fuck fest with a twist.
I've never come across this. But there is a ritual in an Arabic book of astrological magick called the Picatrix where you slice the lips of a vagina off so you have a circle then you consecrate the flesh so when you look through it like a little window, whoever you look at is supposed to be death cursed.
the only reason you're a wizard is cause youre a virgin over 30
lol. noice.
Always impressed what complicate forms womyn-hate can have
>death cursed
Cause no one dies unless they're cursed
Yo found the passage.
> reading it in modern English
you sure are a kind of a satanist, bro
Nope. Satanism's for cucks.
>Unironically believing in sigils
Crowley was a conman, a degenerate, and a fool. Anyone who would legitimately put faith in this magic is much the same.
I hope for your sake you realise this, and stop playing with the imagined tools of the deluded.
whatever, but did it ever occur to you that you might have to learn the old languages if you wanted to study those rituals?
I mean WHY would some faggot take the time and translate this to English and NOT use it for their own benefit?
>Obviously the only benefit they could have is selling this.
Imagine needing to take your meds this fuckin badly.
kys
oh no i'm gonna be arrested
Sure. Greek and Hebrew are useful as fuck, as is some working French. Arabic is just something I haven't gotten around to. That aside, Arabian magic is super fucking complicated and a general pain in the ass so unless you REALLY want to learn it for some reason, there are other traditions that aren't as complex and don't require you to learn another language but are just as effective.
>just as effective.
So they do jack shit too?
Magic is for neurologically and psychologically rewiring yourself. It's not to shoot fireballs out of your ass. Positive affirmation, meditation, ritual, other shit. We've got tons of really good evidence that this shit works. Just google brain scans and meditation.
You can do that without resorting to bizarre shamanistic rituals perpetuated by the deluded.
Inner peace and mediation are great, but it can come from much simpler things. Your hobbies, your friends, your faith or peace with the universe, whatever.
Doing the same things as Crowley, the man who lived a debaucherous life eating shit and sacrificing children to long-dead gods is not the way to go with it. Following the footsteps of Moore, a man who is admittedly an excellent writer, but a reclusive nihilist wake-and bake asshat with contempt for the people who fund his lifestyle is not the way to go with it.
You're kidding yourself if you think these people ever found peace within themselves.
I actually dont think so. I mean if you're aiming to accomplish more than just being healthy and functional anyway. There's parts of awareness and neurology that you can't access unless you're going into trance states and deep meditation on the regular. No baby sacrificing, or vulva slicing, required.
For the record, nowhere did I (or will I ever) claim that Crowley figured it all out. There's a reason he got booted out of every Magical organization he ever joined. He was kind of a dick. Moore is also a bit on the strange side, but they weren't exactly the only 2 occultists to exist in history. People like Eliphas Levi, Israel Regardie and Robert Anton Wilson are much better examples of what happens when things go right.
If someone else has to dumb down sigils for you with a paperback book off Amazon, maybe you should desire something else.
Most of this was invented by bored Christian monks
>There's parts of awareness and neurology that you can't access unless you're going into trance states and deep meditation on the regular.
As much as I can understand that, I see it as pointless. What gain comes from this awareness, anymore than simply spacing out? If you're going to claim it lets you access your subconcious, you can do that with normal meditation, or even simply participating in self-reflection on the couch at home, while drunk.
>For the record, nowhere did I (or will I ever) claim that Crowley figured it all out
I'm sorry, I guess that's a bit of projection. My Pop thinks Crowley and Moore are the tits, but reading up on them I can't see them as anything more than childish hedonists.
Of course, I have to confess to a bias, I am a Protestant Christian, and as such I have spent a lot of time justifying that the Tarot, I-ching, sigils, and other such forms of magic are bad and that there's a reason that they're off limits.
Now yes, I say justifying because I am self aware, but confessing to a bias does not mean that I believe myself to be wrong. I think when you play with that shit you're handing your future off to a deceitful entity to do with what he pleases.
>People like Eliphas Levi, Israel Regardie and Robert Anton Wilson are much better examples of what happens when things go right.
A couple of those names are familiar but I can't say that I outright recognise them.
What gain: Increased growth in the prefrontal cortex allows for increased focus over time. Promoting neurogenesis through deep meditation in general allows for increased brain function. The Trance states themselves allow for practices like invocation which allow you to sort of program new personalities into yourself over time. More things.
No worries. Everytime anyone mentions magick everyone wigs about Crowley. He was both a total shit stain and responsible for the rebirth of the idea into the popular consciousness so it's totally understandable.
I hear you on the Christian front. If Jesus is your guy, rock on. The New Testament is lit, you'll catch no argument from me on that one. I respect the worldview but I don't adhere to the theology behind it. That said, I also despise nihilism. There seems to be some sort of biological morality encoded in us which generates our experiences of 'meaning' but that's a whole other topic.
In particular I recommend reading Rob Wilson, especially Prometheus Rising.
Gimme a minute I gotta change a diaper, I'll be back
Not with jewish magic you won't. It's no more powerful than jewish physics.
The jewishness of this image makes me want to take a big shit.
