Which is better? Europe or USA? Someone who has lived in both regions for a long enough time care to tell us?

idk if ive lived in both long enough but i lived in the U.S for 2 years, and europe (france, switzerland, denmark,) for 12 years and i preferred the u.s

why?

maybe i saw brainwashed but i got more of a sense of freedom i guess, and i felt more diversity of thought. Im very into politics and im surrounded by communist and socialist sympathizers and i just cannot have a conversation with them

oh, and there was more shit i could buy, i love consumerism

I never got why USA is considered so "free". Most parts of Europe allow many more social liberties.

In which states have you lived?

Why is Turkey considered part of Europe?

maryland, im a big fan of patriotism btw. thats another contributing factor (not jingosim tho)

Have a friend from Maryland and he said the infrastructure there is shit.

ffs OP, try to keep up

It isn't.

“No nation was ever so virtuous as each believes itself, and none was ever so wicked as each believes the other.”

Bertrand Russell

Arbitrary?
Historically, the balkans and Asia minor have been inseparable, and to an extent, this follows with all nations bordering the black sea. Just consider that Russias biggest enemy for the majority of its history were the ottomans.

Gatekeeper

maybe my opinion isnt valid since i was a bit young when i lived there so i didnt notice that much shit, but i greatly enjoyed my time there, and defiantly want to move there when when i finish my education.

that may be true but the whole "freedom" and your right to say or think what you want pervades the culture so much that even IF they are comparable, in the US you feel it more because of how the culture deifies it

>Europe allow many more social liberties.
Like what?
Even in Canada the government controls and dictates what a province can do same as Europe. America the individual states can tell the federal government to fuck off. Look at the EU they control and tell the other members how they should run their country.

>I never got why USA is considered so "free". Most parts of Europe allow many more social liberties.

i cant get a gun here, i like guns

Turkey is undeniably sandnigger land. The only exception are inhabitants of the (west) coast which are greek descendants which had been ottomanized.

That's kind of the deal. We promise economic and financial security and in exchange you have to fall in line. The states do the exact same thing but have even less power.

And let's be honest, the Greeks are fucken iffy.

yay the racial slurs have arrived

(eurofag patriot here btw)
i also like freedom of speech which im pretty sure exists in switzerland but in france, germany u.k it is nonexistant, especially to the degree of the u.s

>im surrounded by communist and socialist
Well yeah, US are probaly better than serbia or something

>Most parts of Europe allow many more social liberties.
Such as?

yeah, arent they poor? thats kinda cringe

Well it really depends what you consider european. I personally can't make a distinction between someone from the balkans and someone from the Caucasus. And theres nothing inherently European about europeans.

USA. Homes aren't 350 sq ft piss jugging commieblocks like they are in Germany. You have to even put your own cabinets in these cuckpods they call homes and they cost the same as a mortgage in the usa.

>different administration system
>must mean is less free

at least in europe you critisize religion and patriotism all you want and nobody will ostracize you.

also it's not legal to be spied by the government

also you won't have legal trouble because of what you say

also nobody is gonna tell you until how late you can party (hello Cali)

also prostitution is legal as every victimless should be

also religion does not dicate laws (hello Massachussettes)

I could keep going on. Freedom doesn't mean being allowed to say "I'm free" and people cheer "USA USA USA" in the background.

neither. world sucks. burn it down.

Yeah US is pretty fucked but I still love this place

I’ve lived in both.

1. Women are better in EU
2. General quality of life is better in US
Basically an abundance of food and land compared to slim pickings in EU
3. A poor person in US lives the same life as an middle class person in EU
4. If you have half a brain your life will improve by moving to the US and getting rich working for capitalist cunts

>it's not legal to be spied by the government
Ignoring you're poor grasp of the language, it's not legal in the US either. 4th amendment protects against it. It happens, but it's not legal, and it probably happens illegally in Europe too.

>religion does not dicate laws (hello Massachussettes)
Not sure what you're on about here.

i love capitalism and cheap shit, my house was muuuuch bigger when i lived in the u.s and i had a maid

More people having the same opinion as you =/= freedom of speech

i know, people are prosecuted for having and sharing opinions in europe because of hate speech laws, my opinons were still very controversial when i lived in the u.s but i knew i wasnt going to be fined or go to jail because of them (to clarify i not some idiot who screams nigger to offend ppl, i share my opinions when i'm asked)

>at least in europe you critisize religion and patriotism all you want and nobody will ostracize you.
You watch too much tv. In Germany it's actually true for the opposite though.
>spying
Prove they don't
>free speech in euro
Not even remotely true.
>gotta do drugs late
Ok. But I don't care about your neet lifestyle. I work and I need to sleep.
>prostitution
Valid in the sense that it's freedom but I'm happy without it because I'm not an ugly uninteresting faggot without actual hobbies.
>religion doesn't dictate laws
Ok, rare in the USA now but true to a very small extent

Should add that in usa they can actually overthrow their government as granted by the 2nd amendment if things were truly that horrible ever.

Also in Europe we usually speak more than one language; more than two in most cases. Truth is we are not perfect in all of them.

Ok did you just ignore his actual point to cheer on your autism?

i hate speaking french, and im bad at it, another reason i liked it in america, i got to speak my mother tongue
