the last actual "job" i had was at some shitty call center taking sprint cell phone payments. sprint's corporate intelligence was pretty low and they had us watch this ridiculous video about how to not be racist at work. one scene was a white lady who got scared being in an elevator alone with a black guy, and SHE was supposed to be "wrong" by acting so scared. another was some white people in an office and some black person does something boisterous and one of them says "i hate it when THEY do that sort of thing". it was so stupid i couldn't believe it. this was in 2007.
