bump

Fair enough, since punk is a predecessor of Thrash, but fuck pop-punk

inb4 metalcore.

Metal is for children

Nice ones! Just fucking sad that Chuck had to die

What would be more grown up music then?

Said the Billy eyelash fan.

Personal big 4?
For me it's Kreator, Municipal waste, Overkill and Havoc

I could take or leave most punk. I don't tend to listen to it, but respect it still. pop punk is like nails on a chalkboard though and can go fuck itself.

Good music taste detected. My big four are: Death, Nile, Gojira, Morbid Angel (for death metal)

My big four for death metal have to be
Death, Skinless, Bloodbath and Possessed, although it hurts my soul to have to choose only 4

Nice, also, possessed's new album is banger, it's good to see them still making music.

Same here, I never really listened to any punk, just the occasional few songs here and there, but most Punks I know are really chill. Only thing about them that annoys me are the politics but you can easily overlook that

Definitely one of the best 2019 albums

Best live experience?
Mine was a few years ago, small black/death metal show, Ektomorf, Nachtblut, Varg and a bunch of other ones played, crowd went nuts every song

What was your favorite metal album of 2019. Mine was "Vile Nilotic Rites"

Wings of by overkill. 2019 was a shit year for metal tho
>Slayer disband
>Cob disband
>Bring me the horizon have not one but TWO new releases
>Black veil brides release a new Ep

That shit slaps tho

I don't know about favorite, but I've listened to this one countless times since it came out

Listening to it rn

I was happy they released an awesome album after Dallas left after being with them for so long, I think the new guy is doing to work out

I wish I had known this existed earlier

I had pretty low expectations, happy I was proven wrong

right? I love it so much, their previous albums are worth a listen too

another from 2019 I recently discovered and have on repeat. hard to classify, like psychadelic black metal/rock

You just posted it.

Honestly, any of the bands that were fronted by Dio: Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath (they were, at least, as good as pre-Dio Sabbath; definitely better than post-Dio), Elf... Even Ronnie Dio And The Prophets.

Also, Judas Priest is awesome and even their newer stuff is great.

another interesting one I recently found out about
youtube.com/watch?v=ScMbsZW3qn4

this album just came out like last week I think, and I've already listened to it a few times
