Tipping is a privilege.
typical entitled brat
Go fuck yourself america either pay your fucking waitresses a livable wage or stop bitching
Why doesn't the US understand how tipping works
Not from burger land. How much are you meant to tip anyway?
>why don't children get a better job
I think the waitress doesn't understand how tipping works.
The tip would have been better if you sucked my cock, Erica.
Typical Yas Forums tards didn't even notice what's printed above the customers handwritten part on the receipt.
Fuck y'all are blind and dense.
You got yourself into all of that dept retard. Its your duty to pay it back and should probably get a better job. Stop bitching to all my Yas Forumsrothers.
Imagine living in a country where you have to tip everyone or they'll starve.
Holy fuck that is genius.
>Has paying job
>Does job
>Expects donations for doing job
>Actually gets donation
>"Not enough"
Tipping is cuckoldry
>tipping
topkek
do Amerisharts REALLY?
Tip here boomers. He earns it fuckers.
twitch.tv
>no tip for bad service
>15% tip for standard service
>20% tip for great service
>always subtract tax from the total before calculating the tip
>place order for item that costs $15
>waitress brings item after kitchen does all the work
>place order for item that costs $20
>waitress brings item after kitchen does all the work
>owe waitress more money
gfy
>be delivery driver
>nice old lady gives me a quid tip
>buzzing for rest of shift
We understand how it works. If you're not getting tipped it probably means you suck at your job and should consider a new one that doesn't involve interacting with the public. You automatically assume the problem is one of a whole generation's rather than the fact that you can't get your face out of your fucking cell phone texting your buddies or playing Candy Crush when you should be refilling cups of coffee at your tables.
Cunt.
>$15.86 tip is better than a Nigger Tip.
>Nigger Tip = Zero Point Zero, $0.00
>No one know why Nigger nig or why those rude fuckers refuse to tip. That's NOT racist, it's Realism.
Why don't Americans understand how wages work
10% for okay service
15% is standard for good service
20% is pretty great
the nigger tip is first them claiming the bill is too expensive and demanding to see a manager, making a scene in the restaurant and then tipping $0 and writing "bad service" on the receipt.
I tip when I feel like it's earned, a smiling delivery driver who didn't take forever to arrive will always get a small tip. But having it expected is vile.
>goddamnit why are those niggers smart enough to realize tipping is retarded
Tipping should be banned. IT's malrpactice that's culturally ruining social cohesion and is legalize bribery for the workplace to make its staff compete needlessly and alienates the cooks, whom are responsible for your 'bonus money'. so seriously fuck Tips.
And you don't need my opinion to validate its harm too, most of the developed world banns its practice because of its ramifications
>why don't boomers understand how tipping works
Oh, OP, they understand, the point is to not care. Want a living wage, get a real career. Or get together and make the restaurant pay you a appropriate wage.
No one gives a shit.
Why the fuck should I tip a percentage?
I ALWAYS only tip $3.
THREE DOLLARS.
And that's only because my gf gets upset at me if I don't tip.
Her sons are in their 20s and they're both food workers as well. And they look at me weird when I tip too little. So they agree to just cover the tip.
Fuck food workers.
Why do Americans continually insist on normalising tipping culture?
The service is bring food to and from my table and telling someone else what my order is. I would gladly both of those thing myself, but restaurants insist on employing people to do this. I’m paying for a table and a meal, if they want to pay for the person moving around plates, that should be just included in that, and not added on as an extra charge in which I have to specify an amount. If you’re making me specify an amount, the amount I give is zero.
The reason why you there’s such a thing as a ‘tipped wage’ in the United States is because so many people buy into this stupid and backwards tipping culture.
Yet, whenever these criticisms are brought up the response is always “You’re just a selfish asshole who doesn’t want workers to be paid”
When the entire restaurant industry somehow isn’t by also helping to maintain a method of which they can get away with paying their workers basically nothing essentially forcing their workers to rely on donations from customers.
That’s my problem with tipping, it gives the customer the role of employer to a staff member in which they didn’t hire, to preform a take they could do themselves if given the option.
the kitchen does the work but the waitress deals with the customer's bullshit
>"can i get some more water?"
>"can i get another fork i dropped mine on the floor?"
if the waitress seems annoyed then no tip
if the waitress seems happy to help then standard 15% tip
if the waitress gets you a refill or a new fork before you even have to ask then 20% tip
>Why don't Americans realize tipping is retarded
In most of the developed world it's legal, people just aren't retarded.
Ah the old "make it a round number" tip. That's pretty normal here in Europe, off course Americans get butthurt
Maybe a large portion of the bill was alcohol. I don't tip in alcohol, and most don't. If anything, I'll hike on down to the bar and throw some money the bartenders way. Why the fuck would I give you 7.50 extra for fetching me a 50 dollar bottle of wine? I was a waiter as my first job too. Not all of us are entitled shots and understand that unless you've done something exceptional, getting above 20 bucks on a tip is ridiculous.
>why don't boomers understand how tipping works
why should i pay you for a service you are already getting paid for. why is a reward for doing your JOB such a big deal. i don't get tips for fixing your fucking air conditioner.
Well sir, I've seen that scenario play out many times.
ahhahahhahahah
