Immortality is impossible, but medically amortality, being immune to aging, should be possible. For this to happen we need to find ways to:
-get rid of senescent cells
-extend our telomeres
-counter genetic mutation
as well as some other things but that's kind of the main focus.

Fun fact: if the human lifespan gets extended by thousands of years you will be exponentially more likely to die in a car crash or some fucked up accident.
