Goodnight.

i see your point, but you should just post snails next time

It's about the way my brain and muscle memory are wired to think about pitches and what hand shapes are required to produce them. I've only been playing the piano for a couple years, compared to the 8 years I played trumpet in school
I'd also like to learn saxophone at some point

Aye, it's still a fun time, I just have a hard time finding sheet music lol
Trumpet is like at least 2 times as jazzy

Don't know if it counts but always went with Anna back in the day with Awakening with my multiple plays of the game. Man what a fun one it was

I would just find piano sheet music and shift every note down a half step. That or tune up a half step to play at concert pitch. If you're really good, you can tune by tightening your lips ever so slightly

Thanks, I was never taught that piano technique, I'll practice it tonight

Yes, this is my secret technique, I achieve it by tying a piece of string between the pitchbend wheel and my lips

why do you hate sono?

She kinda cute ngl
Ah, right. That's what it was. Knew you could do something like that. Still, i try to find one already properly arranged before doing it myself lol
Not to say that information will go to waste...

Gee I wonder

same

I'm garbage at playing from sheet music, though. I can read the notes just fine, but I never gained a good sense of reading rhythms. When I have to look something up for piano, I usually look up the chords on a piano tab, then transpose to a key i know better and figure out the melody by ear

I have the same problem to an extent, but it's nothing a metronome can't fix. Also, i usually have a recording ready to listen to as well, get an idea of what it's supposed to sound like.
