1. This is a symbolic attack against those with whom the image is associated (that means you, dumbfucks).
The ADL specifically mentions Yas Forums when referring to this "hate symbol," even while being mealy-mouthed about whether or not it's actually used exclusively in a bigoted way.
Basically, this is a symbolic attack against Yas Forums, and has little to do with Twitter. To repeat: the fact that so many comments are mentioning "using Twitter lol fag" is retarded and missing the point.
2. Once it is normalized to ban Pepe from certain social media platforms, it will come to be expected.
This isn't speculation. You can see this based on the way that people point to social media platforms in order to justify things.
