I played IV the most but in a more Sims manner, if that makes sense. hanging out with Roman and friends, dating Alex, shopping at Perseus, listening to the new music I never heard before. I got into Afrobeat and Slavic music after that. Vice however is the most fascinating place and it was definitely fun. I think objectively though the best one on this list is San Andreas, not my personal favorite, but it's definitely the best overall.

Only because the draw line for spawns/despawn in SA is a little bit too short.
and V is just a big bowl of not very much happening.
IV, despite its issues has some charm especially with the small variety of business buildings you can walk in. NPC viewing seems a bit more interesting too such as the EMT's actually having a chance to revive someone or a conversation leading to a random shooting even. It gets really boring in V due to the lack of these dynamic event mechanics. I was hoping for an improvement on these, especially where IV falls short on these due to numerous bugs, instead of the general blandness we see in this regard for V.
