Sweden, a few kilometers south of the polar circle. We basically did nothing else than read books, lit fires, enjoyed the sun, cooked...
April 27, 2020 - 00:59
That sounds great. I need to take a trip soon.

How cheap is it to leave in the swedish mountains? Not looking for expensive trendy places, just buttfuck nowhere with no 'migrants' nearby.

I usually prefer people not to be in pics, but the guy makes me want to snowmobile up and down that awesome border trail. Just a beatiful place

If you go north enough, in a way, you are the migrant... This is Sami territory.

Some comfy from my youth. This was circa 1964 when gambling was still legal in Maryland.
The place barely survived through the 90s, was abandoned in the 2000s, and demolished in 2018

For me that is one of my favorite things about his writing. Lots of people said it just people walk8ng around for 700 pages, but that is some of my favorite parts. He doesnt skip 'boring' parts so it feels like you are on the journey with them as they make breakfeast, stay at inns, recover, etc. Its not just a few big fights.
