This ok?
Thread all about trains
Well they are probably more reliable than the shit we produce nowadays and easier and cheaper to repair.
They are extremely slow and break down a lot causing often lateness in schedule, sometimes for hours. Not sure how the hold up against trains in Europe but they do work after 30-40 years of constant exploitation which is pretty amazing, also cheaper to repair, yes
So much this Bulgaria bought some Siemens EMUs and they are probably the worst shit running there. But all those Skoda e-locos and Soviet diesels are working.
And btw. that is not Soviet, that is Henschel and sons, with a Maybach engine... A treasure.
My bad, havent really looked into it
I ve used the Siemens trains a lot but i suppose youre right since they are absolutely never used for more than 100km trips, suppose no one dares to try such an experiment lol also the conditions inside are quite crappy its like rising on a half broken city bus on the outskirts of town, toilets have no windows and smell for miles, lights are so poorly engineered once its dark the gloom on the windows in such a way you cant see shit outside, i believe looking out to nature on a night train ride is an almost romantic experience
This guy used to cause train accidents so he could fap to them: murderpedia.org
