Rate my setup (those are electrical deep fryers)

why a heating element is the water cold. its sealed so zero potential to the water. this will heat the water very slowly if submerged that's about it no path to ground in the water. so good work op.

you see if there's no potential there's no voltage . voltage really is just potential now the other issue is these have a on off when temp is made in the air with out thermal sink it wont even turn on often as it will be easy to reach heat.

It's holding so far, and we stopped the water intake (there is ~3 cubic meters of water in the pool)

why not just get silicone heating pads? they come in all sizes.

Deep fryers are insulated (the heating device is some kind of glass-ceramic tube), it's not heating water by getting the current through the water otherwise i'll already be dead

ahother darwin award in the making.
screeshot this lads, so that you can match the posthume article with the pics

why ?

We did that with things we had on hands, we did the setup after a beer pong comptetion so we were not thinking that hard either

I think this is pretty clever.

Have you tried it out? Is two fryers enough BTU?

This looks very interesting. Bump.

It's working out pretty good tbqh, the water was pretty cold when we started and now it's like a pool (~25-30°C I would say). It's gaining ~2°C each hour and it's been on for 3-4 hours
