Reliable, are actually atractive when compared to the limpdick designs of other economobiles and they hold their value, theyre in a sweet spot where an owner can sell and recoup a decent amount of their cost but still cheap enough that a first timer can easily save up and get a decent vehicle without going to a stealership

Hondas are just as reliable and as high of a resale value as a Toyota, while not being as dreadfully boring. I also find Honda vehicles to have one of the best fit and finish, and just seem to be a better value versus Toyota.

My first was a 93 Civic with 300,000Kms. Never did anything but change the oil and spark plugs. I sold it for almost twice as much as I paid after buffing it and giving some tlc to the interior. This started my love for Hondas.

This car is a legitimate JDM import available in NZ if you look in the right places.

It comes with factory installed: a 220hp 2.2L 4cyl H22a, Recaro bucket seats, maunal limited slip diff, sports suspension, sports body kit, xenon headlights and a bose sound system. Not to mention more.

To answer the question I believe people like me love Hondas because they make some of, if the not the best naturally aspirated engines in production car, while being reliable, economical, and holding value.
