I’m watching Inuyasha on Netflix because I watched it on adult swim 15 years ago and I wanted some nostalgia

This was the first anime I ever cared enough about to get really into. I remember working at a gas station back in 2003 and rushing home to watch it every night. Fun times.

Close. Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha are both based on manga written by the same author, Rumiko Takahashi. Ranma ran from like 1985 or something until 1997, and then Inuyasha was the one she did after that. She tends to have very similar stories and characters across all her works. Inuyasha ended in like 2010 I think, her current one is called RinNe which I don't find as good. There's an anime of that one too.

I watched Witchcraft Works because I like a woman as the lead.. I liked that one. Wasn’t that much douchey dialog. Wish I could find something similar. Besides that gambling school one.

I watched a fair amount of the show, until I got so sick of Kagome and Inuyasha I couldn't take it anymore. They are both annoying and unlikable to me. Also any plot with Kagome back in the normal world is so pointless and I don't know why they even bother.

Seshomaru was pretty cool and some of the demons were pretty awesome, and I did love the gigantic skeleton of Inuyasha's dad. Also the priest with the black hole in his hand had a pretty cool power.

Watch the movies instead user, the first movie is not that good to be honest.
