I literally just realized how unpatriotic it is to say bad shit about a republican president.
I literally just realized how unpatriotic it is to say bad shit about a republican president
FUCK YOU NIGGER APE
Did you realize that while getting outraged by birthers?
I don't know what that means, so... no?
During Obama's presidency virtual no media outlet critcized him for anything, except to express utter outrage that anyone would question his birth certificate. How dare they?
Reagan, Bush, and Trump all enjoyed near universal deceptively edited gotcha media. If you were to even say anything remotely positive about Trump you are likely to be never invited back on any talk show. They wouldn't even report how well the economy was doing before the CCP Plague hit.
That's what bullies the Democrats are.
>Reagan, Bush, and Trump
were all objectively complete idiots
>They wouldn't even report how well the economy was doing
didn't the economy just keep doing what it was doing ever since Obama fixed the great recession against the protests of congressional republicunts demanding that the government spend zero money to fix the problems left behind by the Bush administration?
>Obama fixed the great recession
>republicunts demanding that the government spend zero money to fix the problems left behind by the Bush administration
republicans were literally trying to get America to fail to make Obama look bad. Super patriotic.
user why do you waste your time arguing with Trump supporting retards?
They literally cannot admit any of his wrongdoing, or just how deeply stupid he is, because they have tied their own ego to this vote. It wasn't like you and i vote, "Yeah i think this guy will do good, otherwise vote him out". It's a personality cult. Accepting criticism of great leader is accepting his failure, and accepting his failure is accepting deeply personal failure. This is what they made him, an extension of themselves.
They will literally drink bleach before thinking dear leader made a mistake.
I remember when most of the mainstream media in this country was acting like it was unpatriotic to go against or say anything bad about Bush. Even if it was objectively true. Then skip Obama. And now republicans have been back to insisting that it is unpatriotic to criticize the president. I was hoping to point out the obviousness of the abject hypocrisy of the right in a way that even they could get it.
total bullshit
just another talk show diploma holding asshole
regurgitating a Limbaugh talking point
come at me Fredo, you're smart
They can't though. Because it isn't an objective analysis to them.
This isn't some accidental double standard, it's built from the top down. Republican strategists write entire memos and docs to be passed down to their media pundits, personalities and low-tier politicians.
Do you think it's a coincidence they all have the same talking points after yet another dumb thing dear leader throws at this country?
And they know what they are instigating: herd mentality, identity-politics, fear-mongering. They need to keep this base constantly threatened, afraid, full of bravado thinking they are always challenging the status quo.
If god forbid they ever sounded rational all these fucking Trump-defending losers would simply fall out of base. They have no interest in rational public discourse. They need a hero, they need a greater entity to attach their egos to, that's the only way they feel successful at their mediocrity.
The is a lie.
It's part of your pathetic victim complex.
Ring wingers are all special snowflakes that are butthurt when they get called out for their failures.
Obama had plenty of negative news coverage. He persecuted whistleblowers, expanded the surveillance state, led a deadly campaign of drone strikes in the middle east, blundered foreign policy in Syria, and failed to get a lot of his agenda through congress. He also capitulated to the GOP when they did blatantly unlawful bullshit, like denying Merrick Garland a hearing.
He also had FOX bitching and moaning about literally everything he did, no matter how trivial. Now of course, FOX strokes Trump's dick for doing exactly the same things. One particularly egregious example is FOX's criticism of Obama for saying that he would speak to N. Korea's leaders, then sucking Trump dick when Trump was worshiping Kim for being such a strong boy. Same thing with Russia.
Get over your fucking victim complex: we don't think you're idiots because you're right wing. We think you're idiots because you are.
The fiscal and monetary policies Obama pushed helped reverse the great recession. He bailed out banks and the auto industry despite the GOP crying about it, then got paid back. The Fed under his watch used Quantitative Easing and other modern monetary policy concepts to turn things around. Before the Obama administration, some of those concepts had never even been tested before.
You can say it. It's not gonna hurt. "Thanks Obama!"
>Republican strategists
I no, I no (pic related). The republican party is made of two groups, one group manipulating the other group, and the group being manipulated keeps insisting that they are the ones doing the manipulating. But it must hurt their pride to be so obviously controlled by corrupt dumbshits who are enriching themselves at the expense of national health, security, and economics. Surely there is some way to break the spell.
>(pic related)
oops
Yep. All these idiots protesting Stay At Home orders need to google "astroturfing." An artificial grassroots movement manufactured by a hidden party.
They're protesting Stay At Home orders because corporations are willing to put profits above Americans' health.
Where’d you get the nigger picture?
I googled "Obama"
>Obama caused the Great Recession
ftfy
Don’t forget the infamous “hE wOrE a TaN sUiT! DiSgUsTiNg!!!” While we got no criticism on what Trump wears.
>Obama caused the Great Recession by deregulating Wall st. while Bush was president.
your tinfoil is showing. not to mention your lack of knowledge of American history.
A) The media works very hard to make you think that Republicans are idiots, but realistically speaking it's not true. They have a different set of priorities than Democrats, which are focused more on the success of an individual that strives, rather than creating a minimum level that everyone starts at. Republican presidents lacked verbosity, and weren't particularly eloquent, but their actual policies were perfectly reasonable with the information and resources available at the time. Reagan successfully ended the Cold War, and the 1990s were wildly economically successful largely due to the foundation he set in the 1980s (with some help from George Bush Snr and DARPA's technological contribution to the dotcom boom). Bush Jr spearheaded a foothold in the Middle East that Russia had been obstructing since the 1970s. For all that the Iraq War and the Afghan War seemed pointless, just remember that gas isn't $7 per gallon. Americans do a ludicrous amount of driving, so high gas prices have a huge depressing effect on the economy. And Trump is fine.
B) Obama didn't fix the recession. The stimulus packages put out by both Bush and Obama to bail out the large banks were of questionable necessity, and from a macroeconomics perspective it's much more likely that the market self-corrected. From that angle, the Republicans were right to obstruct the stimulus package, since it was quite literally a waste of $800 billion that could be seen more as a reward for shady lending practices than as something to keep the economy healthy.
I'll give Obama a small amount of credit for bailing out General Motors, but only a small amount since it didn't really matter in the long run. Nobody buys GM. His advocacy for the Trans-Pacific Partnership was an absolute travesty, though. That would have been like Clinton's NAFTA debacle, except worse because it would have given China legitimate ownership of our manufacturing, rather than Mexico being a middleman.
>what Trump wears (pic related)
no one on Trump's staff can tell him before he goes in front of the cameras that he doesn't match because they will get shit canned for pointing out a mistake.
>The media makes fake videos of republicans saying idiotic shit (inject disinfectant) all the time, and not being able to speak in sentences and paragraphs.
>The media fakes all of Trump's dumb tweets too, and all the stupid shit he said to his supporters at rallies etc.. You literally can't find a single example of a republican saying something retarded that isn't filtered by NBC.
It's bad to openly disrespect any president, even if you disagree with their policies. That's why we have so much division. Everyone is so full of themselves, they fail to see the bigger picture.
>Obama caused the Great Recession by deregulating Wall st. while Bush was president.
You wot m8
If someone has a speech impediment, but is an electrical engineer, is that person an idiot?
I'm not denying that republicans say dumb shit, but saying dumb shit isn't the same as DOING dumb shit.
>speech impediment: arguing with what no one said cause no way to refute what was actually said
>isn't the same as DOING dumb shit
it is when saying smart shit is literally your main job, and the whole country is depending on you being able to do it.
That's not the president's job. The president's job is to lead the executive branch, obstruct the legislative branch, and guide policy. None of that specifically requires eloquence, though it is helped by it.
You might make a tenuous argument about foreign diplomacy, but while the president often engages with it, the channels and rules of engagement under which the president engages in diplomacy are profoundly different from how actual diplomats do it, and are more personable. Again, it's helped by eloquence, but it doesn't specifically require it, and since it's functionally the same as just having a conversation with someone, it might be a relief to meet with a president in a manner where you don't have to deconstruct the things they say as if it were a chess match.
Saying dumb shit and being unable to speak clearly are not the same. You can have a stutter or a lisp without sounding like a fucking moron.
Trump has the vocabulary of a fifth grader, he starts a new thought in the middle of every sentence and only occasionally finishes the first thought. Even when his sentences are coherent, he's saying something stupid and/or lying. The man asked his medical advisors if they'd look into using disinfectants and UVC light to treat COVID-19 infection
He is a fucking buffoon.
>Water isn't wet. The president's whole job isn't listening, then thinking, then saying something intelligent. It doesn't matter if he says stupid shit everyday.
but you get mad if obama puts on the wrong color jacket.
You went from insisting that the media only makes republicans look stupid to insisting that its fine for republican presidents to say stupid shit because that doesn't fuck anything up. You are a retarded trumpfag doing mental gymnastics.
The tan suit was such a weird instance of FOX being stupid. He looks great, and tan is a normal color for a suit. It's not like he stepped in front of the lectern in a bright pink zoot suit.
And the dijon mustard
And the bike helmet
And the coffee salute
A lack of linguistic skill is not an indication of idiocy. That was the point I was making, not specifically in regards to impediments.
Despite Trump's lack of verbal talent, he's achieved the highest office of the United States, and it IS an indication of idiocy, or at least a lack of critical thinking, to assume it's the result of luck or corruption. It's moronic in the extreme to alternatively call Trump an idiot, and presume that's he's a Machiavellian manipulator masterminding the collapse of the American institution.
Trump's verbal-linguistic intelligence is very low, but it is very apparent that his interpersonal intelligence is quite high. Probably not genius level, but well above the curve, because he usually convinces people to do what he wants. He's done many complex things in his life, and while he's had his failings here and there, he's succeeded in just as many. Being insulated against failure by money helps, but Trump wasn't rich enough to set money on fire and not face the consequences for it, and his early projects were massively successful, which is what allowed him to experiment with the oft-ridiculed Trump University and Trump Vodka and other bullshit.
Just because someone speaks like an idiot, does not make them an idiot. Intelligence is a complex, multifaceted tool, that can have deficits in one area but reach extremes in others. It's like the nerdy kid that is an absolute failure with social interaction, but can do math like a motherfucker. He's an idiot socially, but smart mathematically. Trump has a similar game going. He's an idiot when it comes to public speaking, but he's obviously quite competent at directing people.
That's a separate argument. The media DOES work very hard to highlight those moments of idiocy, rather than looking at the generally effective and positive results of policy. Specifically in order to give the impression that the republican leaders are idiots.
He's a con man. He has the same skills as a sleazy car salesman: he tells you what you want to hear, lies, and boasts.
His early businesses were successful because daddy ran them. How could someone NOT be successful when given 400+ million dollars and a real estate business in New York city in the 70's? He's filed for bankruptcy six times, and reportedly the only reason he got back on his feet was through involvement with the Russian mob and Russian oligarchs who provided the collateral for his last huge loan from DeutscheBank. What bank would risk lending so much money to a guy who has filed for bankruptcy SIX times?
If deluding retards is the type of "intelligence" you want from a president, then Trump's your guy. A fucking moron liar.
Reminder that Trump even now believes that a tariff is a fee that another country pays America, rather than an import tax paid by americans.
