Just checked, he went loopy for non-medical reasons. The meds he took for a ruptured ear drum seem to not affect the mind. So the meds have nothing to do with it.

He was worried about being robbed and killed. So he high tailed it to the forest. Nothing in the articles so far indicates to me any possibility of mental illness. I'm curious about whether it may have been gang activity so I'm trying to pinpoint the hotel he stayed at, since that's the place he started getting paranoid at. Hotel Color, I believe.

pretty sure from all the sources it was psychosis, he's probably suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and either dead or living on the streets.

I've no knowledge of German medical standards, but I doubt the doctor would mix up a med that causes minor cell death in specific cells with meds that correct neural pathways.

The point is he got attacked before. What makes me crazy are 2 big points. He went to the airport calm. He was fine. But when some person entered the medical room who was looking like an airport worker he suddenly run away without his money, phone or passport?

Next thing is, why did he not just catches the flight. He was already borded and also an alternative trip back home by bus if it would be impossible to fly with his ear, was already booked to his name.

that's because when you're suffering from a psychotic break you are not acting like your usual self. If I remember correctly he distrusted his friends and suspected them of poisoning him.
Him suddenly running away from the airport and all the strange behavior up to that point are pretty much textbook.
