Is $5 on a $65 bill considered an acceptable tip?
Is $5 on a $65 bill considered an acceptable tip?
no.
>tipping
only in the lardSA
No idea, we don't tip in my country.
>is 3.25% tip acceptable
Only if you're retarded.
No one is tipping anywhere, retard. Update your shitty spambot.
15% at least.
This isn't the 1960s
What about people who order delivery....update your logic faggot.
that's 13%. not 3.25...
Is someone making these shitty threads, or are they automatically generated by the site?
No tips here... Because almost evryone have décent wage
Tips are a stupid practice. Wait staff should just get a decent wage. Tips are optional in our country.
is tipping mandatory in the US?
you're retarded.
Are you both literally retarded? That's 7,7%
A 7% tip is most places isn't unreasonable. In a US context, some states allow tipped workers to be paid less than the minimum wage (which is completely insane IMO) as long as the difference is made up in tips. That's essentially a customer subsidy for the employer, which I don't agree with. Tips should be handed out based on performance, not obligation.
My tip is get a job not meant for high schoolers
I guess the waiter could refuse it, but then where does it go?
this dumb bitch probably didn't make the food
most likely provided poor service
did absolutely fucking nothing except for hand boomer his meal
and this dumb whore wants 18% of $65? for what?
Considering tipping is retarded, yes
Notice those new "delivery fees" that are usually about $6 regardless of your total order amount?
NOBODY FUCKING CARE GET A REAL JOB POOR FAG WE GET THIS USELESS THREAD EVERY SINGLE DAY SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU SUBHUMAN SLAVE
That is correct. There's absolutely no reason I should pay 300-400% markup on food, 10% sales tax, a mandatory $6 delivery fee if its delivery, then on top of all that pay another 15% so that the company can get away with paying them less than minimum wage. Even the markup on the food should be way plenty to take care of the difference
Some places have an automatic gratuity of usually between 15-18%. Other places, its only mandatory if you want to be confident they didn't spit in your food or wipe your burger on their asses
Lol. Fucking awesome
...
Just pay the extra $8, you cheap fuck.
Free money? How more entitled could you be? Grateful is what you should be that anyone would pay you money to do what a machine could do without the attitude and entitlement.
They are generated by the npc army, residing in the united states of america
65 is the meal
5 is the poor service
>its only mandatory if you want to be confident they didn't spit in your food or wipe your burger on their asses
So happy to live in a country where waiters are paid a decent salary, so not to feel worthless and exploited by the employer and then to haven them take it out on the customer.. jesus what a shithole country
B-b-but workers that are underpaid are encouraged to work harder!
Why is the tip discussed as a percentage of the cost of the meal, and not as a function of how much work the waiter has to do?
fucks sake just pay those poor bitches a living wage!
Less than 10%. So in Europe yes, USA obviously not unless your waiter was real bad.
I don't get it why everybody's so crazy about the tip in the USA, you should tip only if you feel like doing so
Again, in a US context, that's how a tip is calculated here. Living in California where waiters get at least the minimum wage, I don't agree with this tip policy. I tip based on the level of service provided. No shame in that.
