This is what you do.

Buy some of those gps tracking tags that people can put on their dog or keys or whatever. Hide one of these in or on some type of bait, like a small safe filled with some coins and printer paper amd of course the gps tag. Shell out a small bit of money like $50 or so to get a descent quality little safe. Something easy enough to grab and go. Let them take it, track them to their house, and set fire to it a couple nights later. Make it a sure and good burning fire.
