10yyyyyy01 explains it all.
what?
Fuck both and grab an Ardbeg 10 year old. You won't find better value in an Isla and it knocks the socks off those two.
Buy a bottle of Cuttey Shark and trow a handful o smoked almonds in that bitch. Waite 8 hours and enjoy.
ive actually had ardbeg 10 before.im just looking for something ive never had before.although,i was lookin at
thewhiskyexchange.com
this to,because i kind of liked ardbeg 10 better then i did laphroaig.i dont know,it just had the better smokey taste im used to when it comes to scotch.now that i looked at it again it says its cask strength so i dont know, maybe ill get that instead
Underage girls are quite lit indeed my guy
I'd save your money unless the 10 year old was too full on, which newcomers to Scotch might find. If you want to dial back the peat, maybe something else in Ardbeg's range but the 10yr old is the one to beat.
16 or nothing
well, lets get back to the point of the op.because i saw both on sale at a local store and couldnt decide which one i wanted to get
also,i wouldnt say in a newcomer to scotch.but the majority of stuff i drink are stuff like johnnie walker.i have drank laphroaig 10 and ardbeg 10 before though
I might add I've taste tested a shitload of malts, and don't like most. Never be suckered by the age statement.
I've bought my old man maybe twenty bottles over the last decade, and his favourite has been Glen Grant 10, and it was among the cheapest and mildest. He didn't like Lagavulin 16 one bit.
I've picked up Quarter Cask on special at Tescos a couple of times. It's nothing special. But it sounds good, and if you're giving it as a gift that can be important.
People in the industry rate the Highland Park range, but the bottles are pretty bland. I don't have any feelings about them.
either way
on this subject,if you had to choose between lagavulin 8 or laphroaig quarter cask.which one would you pick
But take my opinion with a grain of salt. Along with every review you read on MOM. Everything tastes nice in the first sip, especially when you fall in love with the marketing.
I reccomend Arbeg 10 because I've been drinking it for years, and it's just about the only Scotch I actually like. But I don't drink much, and I don't drink it fast. Scotch is a bit like that.
It's what I drink when I'm not drinking.
Ardbeg
>ardbeg
eh,ive had ardbeg 10 before.ive never had laphroaig quarter cask or lagavulin 8 and they were both on sale at my local grocery store
Smoke weed instead you fucking alkie. I know you think you're cool when you're drunk but really you're annoying.
Enjoy your dirty hangovers, non-clear alcohol tasters!
says the person who thinks he's cool because he smokes weed.i know your 16 but you arent any better then people who drink, chances are you couldnt afford your weed anyway in your overtaxed liberal state
your just as annoying as this kid
>says the person who thinks he's cool because he smokes weed.
It's the other way around.
why not just buy a 20 dollar handle of Evan Williams Green Label and take some shots washed down with lemon lime gatorade?
I swear people who drink whiskey for any reason other than just to get drunk are making it up.
are you even old enough to drink in the first place? who the hell mixes whiskey with gaterade? time to stop raiding your dad's booze cabinent
step your game up faggot and go the laga 16. its worth all the extra money
It's nothing special. I have a bottle here. Neither is the quarter cask. Get the Ardbeg.
their 8y is honestly disappointing. at least get the 10 thats miles better.
yes, 27 year old alcoholic. used to drink a handle of evan green a day.
and i don't mix them, i take a shot, then chug gatorade to get the taste out of my mouth and stay hydrated.
real drinkers don't give 2 shits about what booze taste like, we are only drinking it to get drunk. because that's the only point of liquor.
Clearly, "both" is the correct course.
>8 year anything
anyone who says otherwise is a larper.
and don't get me started on you losers who pretend to like cigars. you just like to look like someone who smokes cigars.
the only point of tobacco is to get a buzz, just smoke a cigarette like a normal person and stop this attention seeking behavior.
whatever kid, have fun calling yourself an alcohol when you dont even know how to drink in the first place
i know how to drink. take shots till you black out.
then wake up and do it again.
i brought up the 8yr because it was cheap at the store i went to
i couldnt decide which one i wanted though.does the quarter cask still have the same wierd medicinal smoke taste that the 10 year old laphroaig has
i used to smoke cigars on the golf course but my uncle moved to a different state so i dont smoke anymore
Next time try Talisker user. It's the epitome of smokey camp fire Scotch, and a 10 year old bottle will only set you back about $60 US.
