I assume you've read all of them, is it a bad thing he dragged it out for so long?

It's a painful thing. I've only been following Berserk for about 10 years, so I haven't gotten the worst of it. The past few years we've gotten a chapter every 4-6 months or so when it used to be about monthly. The plot was also moving sorta slowly.

I think just about every fan is ready for it to be over. Not that it should be rushed, it's just painful knowing it'll take a long time to get a proper conclusion.
I don't think any chapters are really bad, but it can be disappointing when a chapter finally comes out and it focuses on a side character withotu advancing the plot.
It's much more enjoyable to read Berserk when you have a ton of chapters lined up. Afterwards you get to suffer with the rest of us, which is kinda fun, too.
