The actual mortality rate is far less than what people initially thought. This has all been an engineered response so the elites who run banking institutions can steal wealth when people default on loans. It will also create a huge pool of cheap labor that our corporate overlords will love to exploit.
I fart and burp all the time. I seem to have gas constantly and I release it in some form approximately every 5 minutes. Apparently I do it in my sleep too.
If I'm on my own, surrounded by family or friends, I fart loudly without any attempt to conceal it. If I'm in public I still fart and burp but quieter. Even in work and in meetings I fart but I just do it quieter. They almost never smell, and even if they do its pretty mild and passes quickly.
There are only very rare circumstances in which I'll hold it in, the conditions have to meet all of the following criteria:
> I have eaten spicy food or drank lots of beer the night before
> I have farted a few times already and they fucking stink
>I'm in a social environment with people I'm not totally comfortable with
non-answers
meaning his "response" has been nil. down ballot mass-victory for Dems, easy win for Biden.
sadly cats can get it now, thus starting a mass-cat euthanasia program. it's past time to start removing them, they cost the federal govt in damages. now there's a reason.
What response?
It was a disgusting failure. The End.
Cost him his re-election which I kind of think is what he wants. This way he can start his tv network like was going to in 2016.
>Complains that Trump's response was bad
>Claims the democrats did a better job
You're not even American, are you?
There's a certain "slant" in the way they view things.
>The actual mortality rate is far less than what people initially thought
The initial ""best case scenario"" estimates were ridiculous. The 100,000 to 250,000 estimates were pretty much the WORST case scenario. Those would have been the numbers if we didn't do the social distancing and shut things down.
The relatively low mortality rate is due to the social distancing and measures taken by the governors, not Lyin' Don.
Kek, though to be fair there are plenty of retards who live in America that have literally turned this into a political game, blaming everything on the other "team" while ignoring all the dumb shit their side did or is doing
Fucking abysmal, especially with Trump's bullshit LIBERATE [state] nonsense. We haven't even hit the peak of the curve, assholes.
Congressional Democrats haven't done any better, of course. But at least they aren't actively harming things, they're just being useless.
The important take away is that the mortality rate increases exponentially to the number of cases.
The 2% mortality is if we do literally everything we can, there's a 2% chance you'll die regardless. However, there's closer to a 15% chance that you will need to go on a respirator and if there isn't one available you will die. Period. So if there are a ton of cases and no respirators the mortality rate booms, IE what happened in Italy
Ok lets play your game. You're refuting this new information?
"he study by USC and the Los Angeles Department of Public Health concluded that between 2.8% and 4.6% of the adult population in Los Angeles County has an antibody to the virus. This translates to between 221,000 and 442,000 adults — an estimate that is 28 to 55 times higher than the roughly 8,000 confirmed cases that the county had in early April, when the study was conducted."
i think they are doing as good of a job as they could. we havnt been poisoned by china in a long time so we were not as prepared as say south korea. not a fan of the cdc lying to us about masks. not a fan of old dr fouci. the president did what he could do to secure supplies and let the state governments handle their own states exactly the way our system was designed to work.
You are talking about infection rates. I'm talking about mortality rates. Do you understand the difference? FAR more people are infected and recovered than american media is reporting.
Failure
My states doing alright but it's probably because we're so spread out already and not hooked at the hip with the filthy lower 48.
Dumbass, worst case scenario is 100 percent infection rating. How is that not common sense?
Seemed like a cluster fuck with a babbling retard on TV WAY too much. I'm not exactly displeased it was mostly left to the state but federal planning should have started much earlier on things like testing and supply ramp-up/procurement
This is what we get for electing senile boomers.
>The 2% mortality is if we do literally everything we can, there's a 2% chance you'll die regardless.
This couldn't be further from the truth. You do not understand math and probability at all.
"First, the results: The Stanford researchers calculated that between 2.5 percent and 4.2 percent of the county’s residents were infected as of early April. That sounds like a reasonably small number, but if true, it would mean Covid-19 is drastically more widespread than local swab testing suggests: 50- to 85-fold, the researchers calculated. The math that follows from there is even more significant. Assuming a higher infection rate consequently lowers the disease’s estimated fatality rate, driving it from around 1 percent to just 0.12 to 0.2 percent. For the record, the death rate from the flu is about 0.1 percent."

Can't wait for Biden to get in there. So tired of establishment boomers.
So the fuck what ! then some retard goes and compares COVID-19 to the flu because apparently every single person that got the flu, got a test you fucking idiot. The entire country gets the flu every year, has the entire country had Covid?
I was talking about the mortality rate, not the number of infections. Because that was what the person I was responding to was talking about.
Those were the initial estimates for the mortality rates. It would appear you're the one who doesn't know the difference.
Dumb fuck, you are not counting everyone who has mild symptoms, stays home, gets better in a few days. You are not counting people with ZERO symptoms. Which is the VAST majority.
Dumbfuck, you are clueless.
No it isn't. At around 60% infection and recovery herd immunity kicks in. So 100% infection is very, very unlikely.
But there is some here immunity to the flu, you can't ignore how it ran through Italy and Spain's healthcare system, at a minimum our precautions were needed in the most populous areas, other countries did more testing and were less affected, we were not ready in that front and it took too long to get there, we aren't there yet.
I agree. Let's just pull out random suppositions in terms of figures, based on nothing but what you've worked out in a split second off the top of your head. Everybody, listen to this guy, he's got no aptitude or qualifications for this particular equation, but he seems confident in his utterly shallow mathematical formula
We've already failed again in the primaries. At least Biden seems like he'd surround himself with a competent staff and possibly listen to their advice.
I see how you are ignoring the links to data I've posted. I've won. Your shitty uninformed opinion, molded by scare tactics, does not reflect reality.
At least we aren't italy, spain, OR uk. They have like a 10% death rate or some crazy shit.
I swear, this is truly the dumbest goddamn site on the internet lol
They labeled the estimates as the "best case scenario". You don't think the best case scenario was 0 additional deaths, do you?
Think real hard, user.
That part kinda sucks, I just want a reasonable person, Bernie was not that, Biden is not all there
I'd hardly call it a response, more of a series of half-assed gestures.
>I've won
I can understand why a moron would believe that
The link you posted is not relevant to what I was talking about. I'm sorry you're too goddamn stupid to know why.
God-tier response
how is that possible though, given that it's all one big democrat hoax?
>Those would have been the numbers if we didn't do the social distancing and shut things down.
No, the 100-200k were WITH the social distancing you retard. Why is it so hard for you fucking people to just admit you were wrong and this entire thing was way overblown? This is fucking ridiculous.
It is the worst considering all the things the US has going for it and could have done.
But the US has a president who is driven by mental and emotional issues that in turn drives policy.
Add to that he has surrounded himself with sycophants, profiteers and the unqualified.
It has also highlight so many cultural issues in the US that fosters a pandemic like the worship of the individual and "muh rights" over concern for the group.
I liked Bernie 4 years ago, but honestly they are all too fucking old. Boomers just keep fucking us and we keep letting them. Time for them to fuck off now.
The guys a businessman, not a president. What did you expect would happen when it comes to a pandemic?
Right now he's just pandering to evangelicals, back water hillbillies and hard core crazy nut wing Republicans who are in complete denial.
>TL;DR: collectivists BTFO again
>No, the 100-200k were WITH the social distancing you retard
Hit me with a source on that, broseph.
Either way, the initial "best case scenario" estimates were grossly exaggerated.
My main point is this: don't be so quick to praise Lord Trump for the fact that the death rate is lower than the initial estimates, because those estimates were overblown.
>The guys a businessman
Is there any evidence for this?
Who the fuck goes bankrupt owning casinos? They a licence to print money ffs!
>TL;DR
Too many words with more than one syllable?
Show me who the fuck is praising Trump, because even the people who support him are not doing that. Meanwhile the people on your fucking team are literally sucking Cuomo's dick on the daily, even though he and DiBlasio were the ones who let the infection rate get out of control.
