I will finish school in the next 2 months, is university really necessary to not be a wagecuck?

it is faggot
Depends on how much money you start with.
Not necessarily, you could always join the military or go to a trade school
No.
University degrees are one way to secure a slightly above average income. That's still going to leave you living from paycheck to paycheck to a certain extent, unless you get qualified in medicine or law.
If you don't go to university, you need to think about which jobs pay more. Construction workers, oil riggers and some other blue collar jobs in the right place and the right field, can do ok.
The only real way to financial independence is to run your own business, build it up and get employees, or.... inherit money.
Don't even think about the military, lousy money, ptsd and A lifetime of shit jobs afterwards
You'll still be wagecucking you retard
This is true. Gotta start at the bottom, college boy!
U talking from experience?
> oil riggers
Yeah. Other than making $30k more, it's basically the same
Most people don’t care if you went to school or not. They only care if you can do the job.
Shit nigga, I don’t have a degree and I’ve been making over $50/hour for years. The last couple of which have been behind a desk. It’s called the trades ya fuckin dipshit. The problem with you fuckin coomers is the fact that you think all you have to do is go to university for 4 years and after you’re making 70Gs a year. Nah son, that ain’t how the world works. Young men who make that much money didn’t need to go to college to figure it out. So whatever man, go to college and lrn2polishknobs everyday of your adult lives. Or learn how to do something for which someone is willing to pay you a lot of money for. That they can’t teach.
It's pretty much essential to go to some sort of post secondary, wether a trade school or University. Apprenticeships are getting pretty rare unless you live in an area that has a trade union presence. Military is also an option, pay sucks unless your in it for the long haul but you get good benefits.
>oil riggers
I know a couple of people who went for a couple of years up in the Dakota's. Pay is great but both don't want to do it again, it's grueling, dangerous work and both of them are drug addicted retards now.
O want to be a real estate agent
>Most people don’t care if you went to school or not. They only care if you can do the job.
LoL, not even close GED grad
That’s fuckin gay.
Chris
>Can't work anymore at 45 cause his back is fucked up
Adam
>Moves to a different field which his degree opened up for him
>Gets a management job at retires at 50 and gets to see his grandkids
Learn a trade. Im an electrician since 18. Im 31 and made no less than 150k a year the last 4 in a row. Im in nyc and workfor the city and and a small side buisness. Just bought a rental home also.
Keep dreaming kid i think u got it backwards
Okay tradie. Keep it up with the shit cleaning
I’m 43 years old and a member of the IEW, on tract to retire in 10 years. I’ve worked in the electrical trade as an electrician and engineer. Never went to university. I could technically retire now tbh, but the ‘rona bullshits got my portfolio a little low. I own my home, cars, no debt, so all I really need is food and mad money. You think that people in the trades can’t work when they get old? You fuckin retarded or something? Ever heard of owning a business? Whatever man, believe what you want.
Nice story kiddo
Kids that fell for the college trap
>you
I'm going into electrical engineering in about a year, did I make a good choice?
is it any level of enjoyable beyond the money?
you're gonna end up coding anyway so you should've went with software engineering
Yes.
You don't have to think about which school but what you want to do in life. If you want to get to high levels, however, you must also have a certain intelligence quotient. But a good house painter is better than a bad architect.
I went to college to do a liberal arts degree and it took me 7 years and a master's to get the job of my dreams. I fucking love it and actually get a decent salary but the intermittent 7 years were not easy, especially the 10 months of literally no job after graduating and sitting in my parents' house with no money and no life. Go to uni but have a backup plan. Trade school is your friend
Ok retard ask my friend who spent 20 years repairing a ship and now lives with a 7 figure bank account if the military was a bad choice
