Take this with a grain of salt, because it's fourth hand information, but my dad knows somebody who works at a hospital, and he said that his bosses are telling them to mark flu deaths (and other deaths) down as "covid-19" so they can get additional funding and equipment from the federal government. It's a scam.

Can confirm. Wife is a nurse and is out of work because of low patient census. Since they've suspended all non-critical functions, significant numbers of her coworkers are laid off.
She's picking up per diem shifts at a nursing home so she still has some income.

We prepare meds for the patients leaving hospital, out of all the people working in hospital we are the safest in the basement, CD requests might be contaminated but we just wash our hand/ use gloves. I'm not worried but the wards above are filling up with corona patients.

Hospitals are over preparing which is better than the other way around. I'm hoping that the one I work at is the same. The wards are filling up but at the moment are not over taxed. I think that we have learned from Italy.
