They have a week or 2 before transplanting. You seem to have them in a relatively large starting pot. A lot of people start with solo cups

You're gonna want to transplant the strongest one, or clio the 2 that arent doing well to reduce shock to the plant.

That’s a good start. You could split them now. I would verify the sex (m\f) soon. But they look good so far.

I can't verify sex yet? They don't have the organs showing yet

what does a weed penis look like?

Also i would not have started 2 in the same pot

Lol dont listen to this guy. You can't identify sex until you start flowering which is a couple months away

Anyone know a safe way to transplant the biggest one? I've been doing some research on Leafly Etc but I'm still unsure of a good method

this is a great thread, im learning so much!

Fuck I want to start growing weed when the weather gets better

I am in the same boat. I have sown 2 seeds per pot in 3v large pots because it is all I had. The garden centers were closed and I figured but all seeds would live.
8 days now and they all sprouted, so I am going to have to transplant.

I am going to take a knife, cut the soil down the middle.

How are you going to go about transplanting? Think I'll do what you do :P

I would say don’t risk damaging the roots and shocking them, transplant them together and train/trim them to keep them from growing together. There is a high probability one or another is male, so that will make room too once the light exposes their sex.

Buy some decent potting soil and get a LARGE container. Check out Advanced Nutrients advancednutrients.com/ and invest in their products, they're more than worth it. God, where to begin? For starters, STFU about growing, don't tell a fucking soul. Even if you're in a legal State. You're going to want to give the plants 18 hours of light a day in their vegetative phase, then cut it down to 12 hours a day to flower. If you're using bag seeds, it's a crap shoot, good luck. Buy feminized seeds. Seeds cost money but you get what you pay for. Consider buying an LED grow light, less power consumption and less heat than a halide lamp. Find a grow manual, like one by Jorge Cervantes. After the flowering phase begins, observe the flowers that form -- if you have male plants, that's the end of the line. You want female plants and you want them to remain unfertilized. Get a 30x loupe or magnifier and observe the trichomes that form, little hair-like filaments with a glop of resin on their tip. When the resin becomes milky as opposed to clear, it's time to harvest. Then hang the plant upside down until the flowers are dry but not brittle. Then they go into Mason jars, which you want to burp a couple/three times a day for about a month to fully cure the flowers. It's a whole thing. And a word of advice: NEVER DEAL. OK, that's two words. Two words of advice: NEVER DEAL. Have fun! Don't get ripped off or busted!

They're all feminised seeds.

That was my first idea too. I was going to do low stress training and grow them away from eachother m. I have huge pots, but I went on forums and people seem to make a good point on nute and root competition.

The consensus seems that risking transplant shock is better for yields and plant health than growing 2 pants in one of pot.

That soil looks awfully dry

The soil is actually well watered, I water it every one and a half days, I stick my finger just a little bit down into the soil and if it feels wet then there is water present still, if I don't feel any moisture than I water it

Depends on how big your container is and how large the plants are capable of becoming, some strains will not grow very large, while others can get to be the size of Xmas trees. A 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled in the bottom is a solid, cheap container that could handle 2 medium sized plants well. Depth matters a lot with roots. Roots are pretty sensitive and their health and productivity are vital to the survival and success... so you do have an important decision to make there. However, this being your first time I would try to favor simplicity over maximizing your yield. If you make a mistake and harm them in transplant that will be their defining factor. If you do decide to transplant, I recommend a product called superthrive. Use it sparingly throughout your cycle and know it is very potent and should only be used as a supplement, but it will help a lot with root shock. A small 10 dollar bottle should get you through a few cycles.

You can sex them before flowering but you are correct in that you have to wait for a plant to reach maturity aka the plant being ready to begin the flowering cycle to spot definite Sex differences.

If you're worried about transplant shock, buy some of this stuff. You use a VERY VERY small amount of it pre-transplanting, it nearly eliminates transplant shock. It is not plant food, it's strictly for transplanting. Works great.

One other tip I will offer is, get some soil that has good organic content in it. That’s not to say I recommend trying to grow them solely organic, at least your first time... I think a good pro fertilizer is your best bet to begin... but having organic compounds in your soil will break down your nutrients and make them more easily available. Look into using milk and molasses to cultivate and feed the microbes in your soil. It’s cheap, easy and incredibly beneficial.

This is a long time hobby of mine. My advice is that you chose a damn big pot to start w/. Genetics matter but you can grow a top shelf nugg w/ anything. I usually don't talk like this on 4chsn but show em love and care and let it be fun and peaceful and keep studying other ppls grows and you'll get better every grow. I'm to the point now where I'm making shit w my grows now. Anybody can do this and good. Just keep trying. Spend money on lights tho. Do it now w your Gorona Birus money. 3000 watt/ $300.

Having organic compounds in your soil will promote microbial life, which helps break down nutrients*

Whats the purpose of the net?

The net keeps pests from eating at my plant, when they first sprouted they were doing just fine but then one day I woke up and the first two sets of leaves were chewed through as well as the cotyledons so I opted to put this net on to prevent it from happening and so far it's worked wonders

That is probably the least trustworthy label design I have ever seen...

I'm going to have to agree with user on on this, that is a very fishy and Shady label design

Pre sexing is unreliable. Ive plenty that show signs of being a female but end up being male
