You mean to tell me you actually shut your country down for a virus that has a 98% recovery rate?

everyone was looking for an excuse to just stay home cus fuck people.

I guess the moralities are split into age groups. Young people will have a higher chance of being fine, but elderly face a danger more often.

I disagree with it too. Go ahead, let the boomers and immuno-compromised die off. Its survival of the fittest. Plus an overwhelming majority of those who have died in the US are niggers anyway. Its like killing three birds with one stone.

idc I'm getting free money and it literally has changed nothing in my life

You mean to tell me that less than 50% of the people stopping working is shutting a country down?

anything to destroy trump's economy.

This. Britbong here furloughed on full pay - it's basically a holiday. I'm reading, lifting weights, learning a new language (Icelandic, because why not? Haha), and actually enjoying being alive for the first time in years.

You may recover but it will leave your lungs scarred for life and that means shortness of breath and less oxygen to your brain and low-key that also affects pp hardening function and that's worse than death

I think the lung scarring only happens if they put you into a respirator which forces air into your lungs and that could cause tearing. a lot of people recover from it though and it's not really life long. But those respiratory issues happen mainly to people who already have some lung complications. OP is probably going to be fine.

based corona-chan

Free money + no need to go out? This is how everyone should live. Hopefully this will last forever.

>98%
Where in the fuck did you get that from?

Obviously you've never heard of viral load.

Hanging around with multiple people that carry the virus can greatly up your chances of dying.

has a 33% death rate in italy
the more people get infected the higher the death rate goes

for a start i highly doubt its as high as 98%
secondly, hospitalisation rate is around 20%, and even if its lower, its still way higher than what health services can support, you need to shut the country down so hospitals can support the fewer people that need ventilators etc and keep the recovery rate up. if the hospitals couldnt support anyone the recovery rate definitely wouldnt be anywhere near 98%

this

I'm not going back to work after this. It's opened my eyes. I'm happier living free and off the bare minimum. I will not be a slave to burger king

You mean to tell me that you still believe made up statistics pushed on the public by billionaire funded PR campaigns?

The numbers are basically pointless to reference unless a huge majority if the population is tested. 33% deathrate of a virus that mostly only the sick are getting tested for. Some serum sample studies have indicated that around 3-5% of the population is already infected, most with no symptoms. Which would actually put the death rate at around 0.5% or lower. Seems low but it still is about 5x more deadly and spreads 3x faster than seasonal flu.

This is false. 5x more deadly wrong its not deadly at all. It is the common cold and each year in the United States, there are millions of cases of the common cold. Adults have an average of 2-3 colds per year, and children have even more. Most people get colds in the winter and spring, but it is possible to get a cold any time of the year.

Corona virus is what happens when you use media propaganda to scare everyone with a cold into running to the hospital. Its a hoax those that are sick and dying were already sick and dying of other underlying health issues. The rest either got the flu and the cold at the same time and got scared. Its nothing it was all chinese propaganda to stop the Hong Kong protesters.

They are now saying the first deaths in the states were way back in early February which means a early January transitions. Even better, the dead did not travel at all. This thing has been spreading since the beginning of flu season and we’ve sacrificed our rights and crippled our economy because the majority of people prove once again they are cowards who are all too willing to sacrifice freedom to feel safe.

Because there are more than 200 viruses that cause the common cold, the human body can never build up resistance to all of them. This is why colds are so common and often return. According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), adults get 2–3 colds per year, and children may have up to 12 per year.

Its because of how infectious it is
The flu has like a 1.7 infection rate meaning you'll probably only get one other person infected
Corona has like a 2.3
2 turns to 6, 6 turns to 18, 18 ...etc.

20% of people have died after contracting this virus by the time it resolved.

do you think the earth is flat by any chance

Common cold symptoms usually begin 2 or 3 days after infection and last 2 to 14 days. There is no cure for the common cold.

Causes of the Common Cold
Many different respiratory viruses can cause the common cold, but rhinoviruses are the most common. Rhinoviruses can also trigger asthma attacks and have been linked to sinus and ear infections. Other viruses that can cause colds include respiratory syncytial virus, human parainfluenza viruses, adenovirus, human coronaviruses, and human metapneumovirus.
