Hey Yas Forums, Medfag here Browsing this morning, I can see that there have been a few medical questions anons are asking about themselves. I've got two days off, and I'm down to answer some questions if you guys are a bit too nervous to head into a clinic or a hospital. I'll be here for a bit so ask away.
I have a lingering headache that sticks around for most mornings. Since Summer last year, is there anything I can change? It feels like a hangover headache and I don't drink.
Landon Watson
More than likely your sleeping position is doing this to you, do you sleep on your stomach?
Aaron Smith
I usually sleep on my side, embryo style

My friend got corona and she made a treatment in her own house, without advising no one Is that a risk? she got almost cured after 1 month coughing blood and almost failing to breath She's better now She know that is corona because she went to a show where the guys were Swedish and most of the people that went, got the same symptoms

I have a kink in my neck that I can't crack out. how can I crack my neck w/o a chiro?

How badly does drinking the mercury from an old thermometer effect an 8 year old?
Jaxon Morales
Home isolation is the best course if the symptoms are mild, coughing up blood isn't mild, that's signs of sever or critical, It's great that she worked through it but until more research happens I would suggest keeping a distance, even if she's feeling better.
Carson Anderson
That much mercury at that young of an age is pretty serious, I would contact your poison control and follow their advice.
Benjamin Butler
Take a shower and sit on the floor, cross your legs and mimic a meditation pose, hands on knees, slowly rotate your head and extend your neck, don't force it, just over time keep doing this each time you shower, eventually if it gets work I would suggest to see your physician // Chiropractor

Kid was me 20 years ago, don't seem to feel much ill effects, did I get lucky or ticking time bomb?
Dylan Roberts
>Embryo Style Lay on your back with your head centered on a pillow, try to stay on your back when you sleep, you'll probably open up your lungs more in this position rather than your compressed position.
You probably got lucky, Mercury poison is gradual and can cause issues in your senior years, I would consult your doctor when all this ends and just discuss long term effects.
Levi Perez
Adjust your diet, and use a exfoliating item when you shower, like a loofah or something.
There are plenty of factors for acne, but I would say the biggest impact would be diet. Cut out sugars.
Noah Lopez
Thanks dude, I'll go see them after we are let back out again

My eyelid on my right side has been twitching ever since the pandemic started, not a rare symptom of Rona, right?
Nathaniel Lee
Be safe!
Elijah Robinson
Twitching and spasms are not symptoms of COVID-19 If you have a ton of screentime, I would suggest taking a few breaks or decreasing brightness on your monitor. Stress is also linked to this.
Julian Nguyen
I have a sore throat, but no other symptoms of COVID-19, should I be worried? I've had it for a week with no other development oof anything else.
Jace Harris
To be safe, I would suggest staying at home until you're feeling better. the big factor we look for now for COVID-19 is the fever and breathing issues, a sore throat can be linked to allergies or something unrelated, hope this helps.
Landon Green
My wife has been dealing with menstrual type cramps outside of her cycle, can you suggest anything to help alleviate the pain?
Aiden James
Heat pads do wonders for some people, but she shouldn't be experiencing those cramps as much outside of her menstrual cycle. I would consult her OBGYN regarding this, can be done over a phone call with them.

How much rohypnol to keep a lardass of 143~ pounds asleep for at least 8 hours non-stop?
Jaxson Moore
>Lardass >143 Pounds
Who prescribed you rohypnol?
Jayden Barnes
Answer this when you get a chance But I don't advise taking Rohypnol, since it's really easy to abuse. Try to make the switch to Melatonin, I know it's not the same, but there's a reason why Rohypnol isn't legal in the US anymore.
Brandon Moore
Got burning kerosene in my eye a few years back, ever since I see with a blueish tint, it's slowly getting better, but my question is will it ever go back to normal, or I'll just be stuck with a slightly bluer side of the world?
Juan Rogers
Never experienced this, however if your vision slowly has been recovering I would say you probably won't 100% recover from this, but this is a special case, have you seen an eye doctor regarding this since then?
Ryder Collins
Hey OP Can I take anything else than sudafed for my congestion, I don't mind what it does to me but the drowsiness kills me, any suggestions?
Owen Jackson
Look into phenylephrine
Brayden Rogers
I feel like I always have to piss even when I'm not pissing. I've never had sex, did I catch an STD from a work toilet?
Bentley Campbell
Catching an STD on a toilet is a freak accident. Drink some Cranberry juice.
Josiah Diaz
I did but conforming to Eastern European standards of medicine I'm "fine". Thanks for the answer mate
Eli Evans
No problem, Stay safe.

I have a call with a doctor in 3 hours but: I thought I was diabetic but my AC1 came back with 5.5% after a 16 hour fast. I’m not sure if I’m obsessively drinking water because I think I’m diabetic or because I’m just a hydrated person. Which has lead me to have to be about every 1.5 hours. My piss throughout the day is either clear or a bit golden. Now, when I wake up my piss looks darker than it was a month ago. I know morning urine is suppose to be dark but this shade is surprising. I’ve also lost about 10 pounds over the past 2 weeks by changing my diet as well. >tldr: should I be worried about how much water I drink even though my test for diabetes came back negative? I’m sticking with my new lifestyle change because this scare was my rock bottom for my weight and health.
Hunter Ross
Maintain a normal drinking habit, your doctor will have your absolute advice for you but from this context, Morning piss will always be darker than day piss, simple as that, if you're really worried about it then bring it up with your doctor during the call, but stick to your diet and try not to over hydrate.

I have miserable pressure behind my sternum every time I eat that is almost entirely relieved when I belch, but I cannot belch. I have diarrhea at least three days a week. I do not smoke, drink, and eat only bland foods which do not include chocolate, berries, or dairy. I eat once or twice a day.
Prilosec didn’t help. I was prescribed a couple meds for GERD and it’s helped eliminate 70% of the intensity of the symptoms. This has persisted for five years and despite every test possible upon onset they have no idea how to help me. I am not anxious nor depressed, but am getting there due to a quality of life drop.
I did more blood work today but I am not optimistic that they’ll just prescribe more tests, try to bankrupt me, and still find no issue. Ideas?
