If by heavy do you mean like hard to run then no, especially when some of the mods available. Theres this one youtuber that lives on a houseboat and plays on a fukkin 90s mac or something and runs it at 200 fps thanks to graphics mods

Based on your previous replies, I'm guessing you don't have a very strong PC, but here's a list of free-to-play games that are on the higher end of performance requirement -
>Planetside 2 (Battlefield, but instead of capped at 64 players it's capped at 2 thousand)
-Recently had a huge rebound with massive updates so it's got a decent amount of players
>MechWarrior Online (Mech Pilot (first person) multiplayer combat)
-Gameplay is nice but microtransaction practice kinda scummy
>Destiny 2 (Looter Shooter)
-Free gameplay includes original campaign + one of the first expansions, everything else you still need to pay for. Good for about 20 hours of gunplay, kinda gets boring quick.
>Path of Exile (ARPG, like Diablo 3 but much better)
-You WILL end up spending money on this game to buy useful stuff like stash tabs and other things even if you don't go cosmetic. Also, the learning curve for this game is massive.

Risk of Rain (1) (Roguelike 2D) is a pretty low hardware requirement game as well, but it's not free on steam - there's a piratable version of the GOG installer (freegogpcgames com)
If you're a fan of Halo 1, Halo Custom Edition is still a thing, you just need to go looking around on the internet for a CD-key. I can't drag up mine anymore because it's been years and I have no clue where mine's stored, but you can probably find one on the internet to snag as well.
