he has a valid point in wanting to start the US economy (one of the most influencial/important ones globally) asap, but he fails to grasp what would be even worse a second wave of infections/deaths as health care workers and the very fabric of modern society is on edge...it could mean a global meltdown of everything we've taken for granted prior to the virus, a total collapse of a modern standard of living for developed (and underdeveloped) nation states that took decades/a century to manifest

1. Baby boomers are reaching life expectancy
2. leading cause of death in elderly is cold and flu(due to weaking immune system)
3. there are more elderly people than at any other point in history.
4. with collapsed economy, more people will get sick next winter due to poverty induced illness. which typically involve respiratory infections due to lack of access to heat, shelter and sanitation. which means more people will die in shorter period of time.
the issue is not now, it is NEXT cold and flu season where this will truly take off.
now they are just implementing the control apparatus.
