Spacetime can be warped and folded. We dont have to get close to lightspeed. We dont even have to move. We can make space move around us faster than light. Thats how we would eventually achieve interstellar travel if we ever did.
I invite you back to the google rabbit hole. Start with alcubierre drive. Feasible or not, its a very real way we could do it. The current issues with it isnt that it wouldnt work. Its that it would require more energy than we can produce. But still, that ship wouldnt move at all. It would just displace spacetime.

FTL speeds can only be found in zero resting mass particles.
Beams of light are zero resting mass and according to the special theory of relativity, these are the only things that can travel Superluminal speeds. No solid object can. Light is not a solid object
