There exists many discussions about lucid dreaming, online, that go into great lengths detailing how to achieve it and the many do's and don'ts of it. From innumerable YouTube videos and different articles to various plebbit threads, this myth runs rampant everywhere. What is lacking, are the discussions that state that this, so called controlled dreaming, is an absolute scam and a hoax. There is of course also no discussion of how this practice is totally sinful and against God's prescribed ways.
It is unbelievable how much this hoax and scam is constantly being shoved down everyone's throats by online scam artists who call themselves experts. They go as far as claiming that this is actual science, when there is no solid proof of Lucid dreaming. They often dominate discussion boards and thus the posts that ask them to verify their lie with proof and evidence get buried under a large volume of unmoderated lies about this urban legend.
Lucid dreaming has morphed into more of an urban legend from being largely a disinformation and unsurprisingly, it is talked about more often among rich fags i.e. the usual Mac fags and Apple fag demographics of our society. These are the same group of people that push the notion that astrology is also real. What is even more ironic is that some of them tend to promote science and pretend to be know it all's on the internet, going as far as calling themselves atheists in some cases.
Stop perpetuating this lie and accept the fact there is no solid proof of lucid dreaming and therefore it is not real at all. It is only pursued by potheads who have nothing better to do but blankly stare at things as they are brain dead inside.
I am able to lucid dream. Do extra cool stuff while sleeping, been doing so for 5+ years and I am 23.
If you can't lucid dream and hate the idea of it, enjoy your dreams out of your control, pal.
Ryder Adams
How do you know what you're doing is even that which is said to be lucid dreaming? See? there is no concrete way to evaluate these baseless, anecdotal claims. Please stop this. Come to your senses and embrace the ways of God.
Luis Ward
Yeah... I think you might just be shit at it bud... Like you're shit at baiting ;) "sinful" would ya fuckin' go on out of it I know lockdown is boring but even a wank is more productive than this.
Dylan Lee
If you don't want to accept the reality, at least be honorable and don't dishonor the ways of God. Please don't waste my time if you do not have any honest rebuttals.
Justin Lee
what is "god?"? you've already wasted your own time on that shit
Jesus showed me the way to lucid dream, manifesting whatever I please with my mind, so no need to stress. But it's just a dream so I wake up to our real life with no Jesus superpowers.. Yet.
Nicholas Sanchez
>How do you know what you're doing is even that which is said to be lucid dreaming Because everything is wish fulfillment. 2/10.
Austin Phillips
I personally have been lucid while dreaming once, and I fucked it up. I have a history of sleep paralysis too though, but I don't think they are related
I don't think it's possible to "train yourself" to bring it on or make it happen, I think it's just random phenomena.
Josiah Bailey
I'm afraid it wasn't Jesus user. You need to be baptized again.
Lord have mercy!
Carson Bailey
Imagine being this retarded. The mental gymnastics of some of these idiots.
Wyatt Lopez
You're closer to the truth than most of the posters here user. Thank you for being honest.
Noah Rivera
I have been lucid dreaming for over 2 decades at this point.
Forgive me if I'm not convinced.
>mental gymnastics >connecting A to B 2.5/10.
Austin Mitchell
I have experienced a lot of sleep paralysis in my life, one of my youngest memories is realizing I was dreaming during a nightmare an making myself wake up.
Eventually one night I was falling into sleep paralysis and just decided to try sleep through it, I knew nothing could happen to me. Long story short it turned into a lucid dream and with practice I can *often* do it on command.
Google Wake Induced Lucid Dream.
Brayden Taylor
Stan's for God, calls anything else "unscientific."
Caleb Long
Richard Feyman not only believed in it but practiced it. He IS much smarter than you. Just because you cant doesn't mean it isn't real.
Adrian Cruz
Heres a tip while in sleep paralysis.
Close eyes and dream yourself moving a body in the dream, while you can't actually move. I feel its good training if nothing else.
I personally can decide to lucid dream almost whenever I'd like.
Eli Nguyen
>anecdotal evidence No proof. No substance
Kayden Nelson
God is the ultimate truth. REPENT SINNER!!
Adam Carter
>More anecdotal evidence Be real or GTFO commie
Ethan Price
I know it's bait, but since the thread already has genuine replies, and Poe's law is about to become absolute certainty...
What kind of proof would even be satisfactory? Excess brain activity? Higher levels of oxygen? Recall? Motor function?
Ayden Phillips
I've been able to lucid dream a few times. My first time was an "oh shit I'm dreaming right now" realization and I was able to make a life sized cartoon looking cricket come out of the doorway I was standing near. I was able to do it several more times and noticed the feeling of going between lucid and actual dreaming.
It's real.
Blake Reed
His world view is challenged. >Hurr durr BAIT
Where is proof or evidence of a peer reviewed article or Journal. How can you say that this dreaming is real when there is no way to measure or replicate it exactly. These are the foundations of science and unless you can replicate with 100% success and produce peer reviewed journals of experiments. This shit will be the shit it always is, which is a Big FAT lie.
Austin Stewart
>Bullshit You probably think Zodiac signs are real as well.
Owen Phillips
>Where is proof or evidence of a peer reviewed article or Journal Everywhere, genuinely speaking. Your problem, if it were real, boils down to the idea that if you can't experience it for yourself, it's not real.
The scientific method doesn't equal 100% reproducibiliy, either. You put in a good effort, but you're only getting replies, because I have nothing better to do.
Jackson Bailey
>sees a genuine post that challenges hos worldview >baits himself in to replying >provides no evidence for jos claims rather than anecdotal evidence. >ironically proves the OP's claim correct
>the absolute state of Yas Forums
Alexander Wilson
So, Keith Hearne.
Will immediately be dismissed because, bait. And so will everything else.
Aaron Jackson
you do realize most proof starts with anecdotal evidence. Considering we dont even know we dream you can go fuck yourself Mr. All science had been documented, peer reviewed and accepted.
