General rage thread: Post stuff that genuinely pisses you off or upsets you.
I'll start.
>Be me >Love video games where your choices impact the story >I usually screw over as many people as I can >Friend recommends the Life is Strange series >Sure, why not? >Buy parts 1 & 2 on sale >Start with part 2 and manage to get a lot of people killed and turned both of the main characters into career criminals >Love it >Play through part 1 >Super grounded game for the most part, you play as a girl named Max and you pretty much have to solve a mystery dealing with a missing girl as well as prevent a massive storm from wiping out your town all while saving your stupid blue haired dyke companion named Chloe >At the end of the game you must make a choice on whether to sacrifice Chloe or let the massive storm kill a town with hundreds if not thousands of people >I choose to sacrifice Chloe because she's damaged goods and because any sane person would choose to save as many people as they can >In the end it was an okay game but it sure didnt live up to the hype >Because I definitely feel it's wasnt worth a second playthrough, I read through the wiki in order to see how else the story could have played out >Come to find out that your choices actually matter very little and the game REALLY forces Chloe onto you no matter how you play it >Fine, whatever at least I got the bitch killed >Then, I come across a page on the wiki and stumble upon this shit
>This is the official comic books series that ties in to the story, its canon >In it, the main character Max chooses to save Chloe and let the storm wipe out her town >Max and Chloe then say fuck it, let's start over in the west coast >There they befriend a super inclusive rock band that consists of a fierce black girl, a black gay guy, a white twink, and a muslim woman. >Max and Chloe also decide to become lesbians >Together they all bash the patriarchy and privileged white people >For some reason they bring back the missing girl from the first game, who later turned out to be dead, and push for a love triangle >Also, jumping between multiple realities but not as interesting as Rick and Morty or Bioshock Infinite.
The reason why this makes me rage so much is because the authors, all women, decided to take a big fat steamy shit on top of the story that was barely okay to begin with and said "No, THIS is how the story actually ended", thereby defeating the entire point of a choice driven game. Not only that but the existence of this comic really pushes the idea that the stupid dyke Chloe is even worth saving to begin with, let alone at the cost of hundreds if not thousands of people that were killed by that selfish decision. I also really disliked how the whole concept of inclusiveness is showed down the reader's throat and how white privileged men are trashed, and I ain't even white. Lastly, this comic was released about a couple of years ago and its ongoing while the game has been out for many years now. Why in the world did these bitches decide to take it upon themselves to beat a horse that was long dead?

the comics industry has been subverted by a club of woke sjw retards who got in because fat loser editors who wanted work wives hired young females right out of their gender studies uni programs, and then by the time they realized the horrors they unleashed it was too late. Comics is a nightmare realm of unqualified, untalented diversity hires who can't write their way out of a paper sack, and the ever dwindling sales numbers prove it. And ever since covid came around, comics stores, unable to move product, and with nothing to look forward to since its all trash and they can't even get the trash distributed, are going under at a rate that is unsustainable. Also digital comics are a joke that nobody likes so that's a dead end too. Comics industry has painted itself into a corner.
tl;dr: SJWs ruin everything about an industry because they don't care to make money, only to browbeat the reader and alienate customers for twitter points.
