Celebrate with dinner and a decent night out. Buy a PC and some other items I've been eyeing, nothing too big. Maybe a gift for my fiance. Get a $25k-$30k vehicle completely paid off, settle comfortably in a middle-class life with 0 debt. Spend the next 6 months learning how to manage money and pick up a trade like programming and basic finance (all for free online). Try and spend the next few years trying to make it grow to $15+ mil. In 10 years I might be able to comfortably move into upper middle-class while working full time at stock trading making maybe $150k a year. Around that time my fiance and I will have kids that are ready to go to college. Use their trust fund, which was setup decades prior, to help them start their lives.

$8 mil isn't that much.

If 8 million isn't a lot then why would a salary that would take 54 years to get to 8 mil be good? You'd be broke in a week, not because it's not a lot, but because you get bigger rich.

$8 mil is enough to launch you into a middle-class lifestyle with 0 debt like mortgages or student loans. That $150k is to sustain you because you won't be living off the $8 mil permanently

It really depends on where you live and how you want to live. If I stayed in my state/city, I could buy a very nice house for $500k leaving me with 7.5m left. Obviously I'd buy the things I've always wanted but they would probably easily only total up to be sub 50k. As long as I'm not spending 100k a year like a retard and learning to invest into stocks or real estate, I'd make more than I'd spend regardless.

With the house and car paid off, I'd be lucky to break 50k a year.
