That depends on whether you mean white as a race or white as a skin tone. They're white in the sense that they have pale skin. Hair is obviously bleached so you can't count that. But, slavs have different genetics than those originally considered racially white so they're some kind of schrodinger's whites. Russians are mostly Slavic, although the nobles were mostly Nordic with a Slavic admixture. Slavs and Nordics have a common origin and are both mostly descended from the ancient Yamnaya people who spread the Indo-European Languages, although the Slavs are more mixed with Mongols and Uralics.

Not really the case for Western Slavs and even when it comes down to Eastern ones, it is mostly the Russians that are mixed. There isn't much Mongoloid, especially Uralic admixture when to comes down to Belorussians and Ukrainians, though nowadays there is quite a lot of Russian admixture which also includes the fore-mentioned Asiatic groups.
