Mary Magdalene was a repentant Christian. There is a difference between repentant sinners and those who indulge in sin without a care in the world. I want to say it amazes me that people honestly think that because Jesus payed for their sins on the cross, they are just free to do whatever. Where in the entire Bible does it suggest such a thing? NOWHERE. That's where. Does he think he's going to waltz into Heaven while he is taking it up his rump all day? Uuuhhh... No.
The book of Hebrews, James, and several Epistles quite clearly tell us that willful sin will be punished if not repented of. And "saying you repent" isn't the same as truly feeling guilt over it. If I told you I loved you, would you believe me if you didn't feel it? At that point, was I just saying it? Or did I really mean it? Is there a difference? Obviously.
