Indeed, the human form was appreciated for what it was. Elegance, modesty, complexity, and order was a big highlight of those times.

Homosexuality has existed for as long as we know. Also, you might like to know that this was painted by a woman. She was ridiculed and her career was destroyed when people found out she was a lesbian.
