That's a cover story.
The reason is that governments in Western Europe are wanting to make a mobile app that "helps track Corona" by tracking everything people do. This "purely voluntary" app has to hit 60% of the population to be effective. The same thing was tried in Korea which voluntarily made 16%. It was then made mandatory.
5G will do nothing but help tracking and recording/uploading all data so the government can better "monitor the pandemic".
Additionally, people don't trust China, and guess who's supplying the tech for 5G.

5G is a problem because
- radiofrequencies in the range covered by 5G can interfer/hinder a lot of quite basic chemical reactions that happen within living organisms, up to the point of causing health problems and death, such as the birds extermination and complete plant deaths everywhere it has been implemented in city centers
- the data rate and focalisation capabilities of 5G towers make them able to be used as a multifunction radar/scanner that can read a huge amount of information, like individuals health and emotional states, heart and breathing rates, sweating, capillaries contraction, what they are wearing, what sort of objects they have in their pockets, in their bags, in their cars, what caliber of the gun someone has hidden, and even where it is pointed to
this makes it a huge privacy/security violation, before even mentioning all the shit that can happen with electronics
- the only "valid" use of 5G would be to connect to the "internet of things", but this only moves the health and security problems one step further without answering any of them
- 5G is all made by china and by corporation that have proven they can not be trusted, so anywhere with 5G instantly becomes a potential death zone, health-blackmail zone, total electronic spying zone, and complete destruction of any technology you possess zone, at the whim of you have no fucking clue who
- and finally, 5G is so insecure that the pentest have all been kept secret, the security has been concieved by clueless chinese commies, programmed by pajeet subcontractors and sold to incompetent CEOs by kikes

not an argument, you can google plans for diy radars made with a wifi router on electronics website, proving that a superior radioemitter can get better results, there are lots of medical articles showing that you can read people's emotional state with data returned from their biometrics, there are plans on how to make an electronics scrambler/fryer with interferometry caused by a pair of old cellphones, everything I mentioned is feasible with today's electronics, 5G will only multiply the range of what is possible
