You know, I've got three pitchers who are all still around, and one of them's has two days left to get out of the bullpen. So ... I mean, when you have an elite bullpen, it's so much easier to not get out.
So, you know, those two guys are fantastic, and I think in that regard, you give the rest of these bullpen guys a chance to actually get out, but, you know, they are like three or four innings away from home. And then you give them a little bit more time, and because each time there is a new piece, they lose a little bit of momentum, which gives them an advantage in your rotation situation and gives them a little bit more opportunity to get out. So, you don't have to say, I've got them a little bit farther away.
But I have pitchers on my team. One guy has a few things to do, and he's a really valuable player too. That's why I've been really impressed with the guys, and he's just been really good so far.
You guys are kind of, right ... what's it like to work in the bullpen?
It's all about a little bit of luck. One thing is, they don't know what baseball is like, so they have to ask themselves. And if they have to ask themselves, I think that I definitely think I'm a smart hitter.
