God is something 'out of the box' needed to cause the beginning. An infinite chain of causes doesn't exist it has to start somewhere. The cause can't be something 'normal' because that would need a beginning too.

People can differ about what god is but there is something out there we don't know about

If you don't think a god created the universe then you might be a little retarded, the universe had to have come from somewhere, even if it was created by an inanimant object it could still be considered a god

Most religions see "GOD" as some form of being. Even if there is a primogenitor cause there is no reason why that must be a sentient personal being as "God is so often described. What if this primal cause was simply a short "blip", would you now revere this "blip" as god? And that is only assuming that the premise : "Whatever begins to exist has a cause" Was that ever proven? And don't bring examples from day to day life. We know that Electrons can quantum shift but have never seen a tennsiball do it. The extremes of things don't necessarily behave according to the rules that can be used to describe the middle.
There are definitely "some Things" out there we don't know about. But that doesn't make them god.

No it doesn't. No one knows. You can consider god anything you want but that's not God like religious people intend it. The universe could always been here, this could be a simulation, god could have created it, maybe I'm arguing with myself and I'm the only conscious being alive.
