I took this pic when i was safaring in the jungles of the Congo. Famine is supposed to be rampant and terrible there. All the children were starving and begging for money and food. I was drinking a big gulp so the sugar made me feel fat, so I wasn't carrying any food. And then I saw this child, on the brink of death and right behind him was a vulture, waiting for his prey to die. I manger to take this pic before he passed, there was nothing I could do but drink my big gulp while father was calling our driver a filthy nigger.
