Do you know the size of the universe? The distance just between the planets in our solar system is huge. Now try going from our system to another. There is life on other planets,intelligent or otherwise. Proving it is difficult because of the distance. But we can look at earths lifeforms and see that those lifeforms can exist in extremes.
