It should have been an anthology series with Geralt tackling a different contract every episode. Triss, Ciri, and Yen could be recurring characters that pop up every now and then like the books and games.

I loved the games, not read the books, not a big fan of the show so far, but I'll watch it because I like Henry Cavill and his casting as Geralt. And hopefully Ciri's character becomes more interesting than 'scared girl' in the show. Yeah they fucked up by nogging up Triss and Yen, but I'm not going to let it fester in my mind enough to spam Yas Forums almost daily with bitching threads.

I think though that Triss would be an example of something that should've been brought from the games. She was far more fleshed out in the games than the novels, where she was a background character more often than not. So personally I think Triss should be the firey redhead, sweet yet deviltongued when need-be. That version of Triss is the one everyone knows, since the novel version is way more of a background character.
