depends on the filter they use and how well they fit you, there is no "one size fits all".
you're not trying to keep out single virions but rather small mucous droplets which are way, way bigger. so 10nm filter capability should be enough.
I'd recommend Respro masks (I used these when I was in Korea during the yellow dust season last year in spring) but it'll be difficult to buy one currently.
also for the sake of everyone around you don't get one with a breath-out valve. you won't need one if you have a filter that's a little more coarse.

and wash your hands before and after taking it off and let it dry because warm+wet is a heaven for bacteria.

The will not protect you, that's not their job. The purpose of the mask is to trap the humid particles as you exhale. In other words the masks keep you from infecting other people.
If you want a mask that will filter CV from you inhaling it you'd need something that looks like a military gas mask. You can expect to pay a few hundred to $1000 or more for something like that.
