It kills young people >It infects from 15 feet away It hangs in the air for up to 3 hours >It lives on surfaces for 3 weeks Incubates for 28 days >You're infective after just a week of incubation long before any symptoms show You can't get immunity you only keep getting reinfected >If you survive you get permanent lung scarring and shortness of breath It infects the bacteria in your gut causing permanent infection >It survives and remains in your feces for the rest of your life You literally become an aeresolised bioweapon farting out the virus everywhere you go for the rest of your life >More than 2500 strains discovered making a vaccine impossible RNA based - will continue to mutate at random >If you are obese you will be refused a ventilator If you have any condition including asthma or diabetes you will be refused a ventilator >It drowns you in your lungs in your own juices You die alone gasping for air with no one to comfort you >There is no cure There is no escape >Nobody can help you
The Coronavirus Pandemic hadn't really affected me until today. I still go to work, I went to the stores early so there wasn't many precautions in place, no one in my county has gotten it yet, so I really didn't care. I know it's a serious issue, but it wasn't directly affecting us, yet. I went to Walmart today to get more groceries, and the state of things actually upset me. Most things don't, but this did. There can only be so many people in the store at once, people walking around in face masks, some products completely out for no reason even though they aren't essential (fucking candy shelves are empty, but I can still by my oats, beans, and ground beef, what the fuck). People are panicking over nothing here, and they aren't even doing a good job of it. These people don't know how to prepare, and no one is able to show them how. They stock up on stupid shit, act retarded, overreact, and the only thing I can think is that I'm sad. I'm sad these people don't know how to help themselves, and they won't even be able to. This virus, even with all the precautions in place, is supposed to infect about 70% of the population. When people get it, they have to be quarantined, even if they aren't in the hospital. And if the virus doesn't kill them in those two weeks, the lack of proper preparation and self-care will. If they survive, the supposed lasting damage is enough to ruin just about anybody's life. Jesus Christ, everything's so fucked right now and I don't know what to do. I'm not even panicking, I'm buying the same food I always have, I'm still working out, I'm still going to work and making money, but all these people just don't know how to live, and I'm sad. Should I care about them? Probably not, but I do. How do I escape these feels, guys?
Sorry for the fucking blog post, but now I've got nothing to do but sit around and think about this shit.

What a relief. I take 2g copper everyday. I'm invincible; everybody else can get fucked.

>You can't get immunity you only keep getting reinfected Not confirmed The rates at which this has been reported fit within the understood false negative rate for tests, which means it's entirely possible (and through Occam's razor, more believable) that it's simply a matter of false negatives and subsequent discovery of continued infection.
Coronaviruses often result in natural immunity/resistance for beween a few months to a couple of years. It's yet to be seen what is the case with this one.
>More than 2500 strains discovered making a vaccine impossible Not entirely true. Most of the strains are minor variants of a parent strain. There are two, maybe three main groups of strains right now. It's not clear how immunity cross-strain works. However, yes, it's entirely possible a reliable and economical vaccine isn't possible.
Regardless, we will probably develop treatments in the coming months, and those treatments will improve over time. Even if we can't cure/prevent the virus, we can learn to manage the symptoms.
This will probably end up being everywhere and something everyone gets at some point. We'll adjust, and move on.
>It kills young people Only the weak ones aka those with some defect. In this way it strengthens the human race. We really do need to weed out the weak, since culturally we've become too soft to do so ourselves. This is our salvation.
>If you have any condition including asthma or diabetes you will be refused a ventilator Again, culling the weak. This is a good thing for our race. I don't regret my part in releasing it.

I wish we would stop making viruses and then releasing them. That is the dumbest thing ever. I live in world full of retards who can't seem to stop and think, "Is this a good idea?"
>I'm not worried at all. Those with a superior immune system don't need to worry. I've been exposed multiple times. I don't try to avoid it either. It can't take hold in me. I'll kinda feel it in my throat for half a day at most. I work in a pharmacy. I constantly get exposed to shit. But that means my immune system is constantly fighting. In other words, well practiced. The common cold virus is also somewhat related to covid-19 (also corona viruses), Being used to fighting those off makes it easier to fight off covid-19 and other similar viruses. I get exposed regularly. So do kids though - always passing along colds to each other. And kids (except the weak) are practically immune to it as a result.
This is something to celebrate.>I wish we would stop making viruses and then releasing them. Well in this case - well in a lot of cases - "we" is China. They "coincidentally" had a virus research lab in Wuhan, China. That lab "coincidentally" specialized in corona viruses. But even if it wasn't that, their "fresh blood" markets are the perfect place for diseases to adapt/jump to humans. But I'm not even mad.

>I dont regret my part in releasing it
But how will bitch mommy make you tendies if she dies from being too fat?
We all die at some point and more than likely all of our deaths will be painful, when is irrelevant. A year after you're gone no on will think about you anymore anyway, so don't worry so much and have fun.

Go save the world, faggot.
People aren't shopping for sustenance, they're shopping for comfort
>Just like they've always done
You're underestimating the stupidity of humanity. Not that they're bad people, just fucking retarded.
Go fix it, or shut up and play Animal Crossing like the rest of us.
