I've been working on my bird calls and I can talk to:

Mocking Birds
Blue Jays
Cardinals
Doves

These little guys show up on a lightpost overlooking my back yard, and we sing to each other. I've even attracted the attention of a female Mockingbird recently, and that's exciting.

Some bird sightings I've had recently:

Golden Eagle
Osprey
White Ibis
Black Duck (maybe a Coot?)

Bird watching in Florida is fucking amazing.

Yes, it IS cool, friend.

Golden Eagle sightings in particular are an absolute rarity here. They don't often visit the southern corner of the united states.

photoshop a normal beak on a toucan to blow your mind.

the absolute rarest bird I've ever seen in our neighborhood is a Great Hornbill! I couldn't believe it when I saw it, but this bird is unmistakable when you see it. Some rich asshole down here in Florida had one as a pet and it got loose.
